AliExpress Handpumps are all that you need - Change My Mind

So, just recently (3 mo ago) I bought one of those cheap handpumps which cost me $33 (free shipping) for the hand pump and $13 for the filter and foster fitting (free shipping). I have been using them to fill my Nova Liberty even up to 4K psi on a weekly basis and I had to disassemble it once to re-grease the O-rings. It’s not the smoothest thing every, but it gets the job done, even to 4K psi. It came with spare parts, a testing plug, some kind of threaded male quick-disconnect cap that may be something you put on guns that have the evil fill probes (now that I think of it, that’s probably not what it is...) of doom, and a 1 year warranty, which is something I was NOT expecting. IMO, I don’t know why you’d get a GS7 over this. It’s like comparing a Buggatti Chiron to a Chiron Sport (maybe not the best analogy...) - one is a quarter of a million dollars more over the other and you get very little for that money. Now, I can understand getting the MK4 - it’s smooth, reliable, has an intake desiccant filter, has a 4 section piston, and a very long warranty (....but you can get something with those features other than the warranty for $120 on Aliexpress...).

I wouldn't even get a HILL MK IV over the current generation of Chinese pumps,

I had I think 8 HILLs, all of them developed pitting on the main tube farely quickly, all of them needed a rebuild within a year and the kit cost 40 bucks.

My Chinese pump has been going strong for well over a year, no pitting, no rebuilding and even if I need one it came with a Kit,...and pumps just as good as a HILL

Why would I possibly want to spend 300 Bucks plus shipping ? .....when I can get a Chinese pump for 50 free shipping

If the pump fails and I don't feel like working on it a new one cost just about as much as a HILL rebuild kit,........No brainer IMO

I purchased a Chinese made pump from a member who posted in the classifieds. Costed $15 plus shipping.

That little pump has pumped a crown, Brod, raptor and taipan several times each! And it’s still trucking. It’s my back up just Incase my compressor goes out or I need to fill a gun more quietly. Sometimes I pump to top off the tank if I just shot 1 mag. Or I’ll pump my guns just enough to shoot a mag or 2. The compressor is mainly to fill after Long shooting sessions.

I have 2 of the Chinese pumps. Only opened to inspect and check operation then put them in 2 bug out kits.

AliExpress all you need?  No.  Not when you can get it elsewhere for free.

My Chinese $45 handpump from Amazon has refilled my PP700 around 200 times.  Free to me because I had Amazon credit.  Also filled a Maximus a few times and a Varmint a few times.  Few meaning more than 20, less than 50.

Lately, all I've been shooting is my Leshiy.  I handpump to 270bar.  Pumped it up 18 times so far.

I have 2. One has been in regular use for close to 3 years now and hasn't needed anything but a little silicone on shaft and orings. Also came with the assembly tool and rebuild kit included. 2nd was bought even cheaper and while no bottle of silicone, also had the rebuild kit included.

Pretty sure if you look close enough, they're the same pumps as the G7's (and other name brands), just way less expensive. Why? Because they're all built by the same Chinese companies who build the more expensive stuff for the big names in air gunning and will for whatever company happens to want them. Also happen to think that way because if memory serves, Air Venturi is just a distributor, they don't make the stuff they sell.

Save your dollars for pellets and buy the cheap Chinese stuff

If I changed your mind I am sure some sort of electroshock therapy would be involved and if that didn't work a small hole into the frontal lobe and precise removal of the frontal cortex would change your mind.

Joking aside I have a G7 and if I were inclined to purchase a clone I could do a comparison, but I'm not so inclined to do so unless enough people desire it.

I wouldn't count on this warranty, because I'm betting it doesn't include shipping. If not free shipping, then it would probably cost you just as much to ship it rather than just buy a brand new one, and save the broken one for spares.
The vendors knows the warranty angle is a good sales pitch....but once you do the math, and figure in the wait time, it's simply not worth it.

If you look at the one star reviews you’ll see that in most cases the seller responded with an apology and said that he would send replacement parts. Remember, these guys need to go over the wave of people selling the same thing, so they need the good reviews.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the product or vendors. Just saying that it won't simple is all.
For the price of the product, it may be just better to simply buy another brand new $40ish pump, from the states, in which you'll receive in about a week's time......... while you wait for the warranty part(s) to come over on the slow boat from Asia.

In any case, it's all good!

Are some times any pump is a PIA.   Filling any larger sized gun tube/tank from zero is not my favorite pump experience.

Mine side by side. TaoUSA is in camo, even less expensive Chinese pump I got for like $35 through a post in the Bargain Gate. See any difference besides color of handle and gauge face? Now take my pic and compare to the way more expensive Air Venturi....same pump, different branding...lol

Yep, that is all you need anything else like a Y.H. compressor is a luxury.
 Then again a Maximus or QB Chief is all you need for PCP.

Where did you buy it from? I have heard that Amazon is a terrible place to buy these things from - I’d go to aliexpress. On the downward stroke I always have a leaking noise from the ball in seating in fully - but I can still pump to 4K psi so I don’t think it really matters.

Very strange, Mine has zero issues and the vast majority of the reviews are more then positive.

Your experience is outside the norm so can't really make it a blanket statement.

I'm pretty confident these pumps came out of the same 1 or 2 Chinese factories. I'm also certain they probably don't really do much in terms of QC. So, you're likely to get batches with poor assembly and/or unnoticed defective parts, such as o-rings. Therefore, for consumers, it's luck of the draw.
Then you have to wonder, if many of those negative reviews are from people who actually know about heat build up that's an o-ring killer. There are times when the fix is simple, but not everybody is mechanically inclined enough to resolve an issue.
I read plenty of reviews, and many times just have to roll my eyes at the unbeknownst user error(s).
