Thanks for all the Great Suggestions. I switched the scope mounts --- Front to Rear and the Air Rifle shot Point of Aim at 30 feet using CPHP.
Now if I could figure out a way of mounting an Open Sight or Peep Sight. I would like to be able to use the Open Sight rather than the Scope out to 20 - 30 yards. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Paul

Glad it's working okay for you now. I'm no help on the open sights.

You could still go with the NPSS barrel and parts, which would probably end up costing half of what a gunsmith would charge.
pv
BRAIN FREEZE...... It's not the NPSS barrel, It's the Super-Streak barrel, Sorry!

I'm VERY New to this forum as well as Air Rifles in general. Where would I go to buy the NPSS barrel and parts? And what would I need to ask for? What parts?
Thanks,
Paul

Go to the source, Crosman, on their website, go to manuals under customer service, and look up the parts on the parts list for the NPSS, then call and place your order. Jay and I think Ezman have been down this road with good success. The barrels are a direct swap except for the sling mount.
Good-luck!
pv
Added.... You will want to order the sight parts if they do not come as a single assembly with the barrel, that should be it. Note that the NPSS barrel does not have a full shroud, but I understand it is not a large difference in sound level.
Second note.... It's the Super-Streak barrel, not the NPSS.

Yep it's the Benji "Super Streak" barrel you want. Look it up on Crosman's site an write down every part # from the break's cap too the seal(it's better to just get all the part's). I will add that when I had the Benji Super Streak the front sight is on the brake an it took all of the rear sight adj. to get on target at 20yd's,which left it pretty loose raised that high? But the barrel without the brake would be an easy gunsmith fix to just place a front sight on? I'm shooting my XL change over to .22 without a break right now an the rise in noise has not been "That" much. If you have any question's Paul(63601) just ask away I'm sure ezman("Dave" the god father of this set up)or I can help you along. It would also be worth the time too go back a page or two an take a LOOK at what he did with his gun's they are nothing but SWEET!!!

I don't think he has the Trail XL. The Super Streak barrel won't fit the Trail NP will it?

You can check with Crosman for the fit, but I think the breaches are the same.

I can't speak for the Trail NP but can attest to the swap on the Trail XL NP. I had a spare Super Streak .22 barrel. The breech is identical. All connections are identical. The difference is on either end. The breech end slot has to be ground or cut out a bit to accept the front sling mount. This wasn't a big deal, I used a 4" cutoff tool and just ground to fit. The other difference is the crown end. The barrel isn't threaded to accept the factory shroud and end cap. So you will have 3 options there. Order the SS end pieces including the muzzle break (which you will never get), sight and end cap - get an after market muzzle break (like the Beeman ported) - or have someone make you a custom shroud.
The SS barrel was $15 and came to just under $20 with shipping. Beeman muzzle break is around $35 shipped. Check with joe_blow (Aaron) to get a price on a custom shroud. He does EXCELLENT work. Actual parts for the Trail aren't supposed to be available until about 1 year after the guns went on sale. So, roughly February, according to Crosman. The SS parts would be one way to get it done now.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Are you sure the scope mount is aligned properly? There are a couple of recent posts about this, you may want to send the entire gun back to them or the dealer. Did you move the scope or mounts since you reversed the mounts? Are all of the scope and rifle screws still tight? They will replace just the scope for you, but it could save you a bunch of down time to recheck all of the variables to be sure it's just the scope. If the rifle is completely stock, it may be better to send it all back. If it had a GRT on it, swap it back out before sending the piece, you won't get that returned in any case.
