Haven't posted here in a while although I look in every day, been a member for some years but when I tried to log in on my phone I got a message stating,

' Sorry Andrew you are banned from using this forum '

On the phone only, must be mixing me up with some other Andrew.

On the desktop computer there is no issue and got straight in.

Have others had this glitch?

Andrew, I'll take this one since I may have the answer. Your desktop is most likely a static IP address assigned to you by your provider. On smart phones, the IP addresses the provider assigns is temporary and fluid. We receive about 100 or more applications a day for new memberships. MOST are from bogus spammers attempting to gain access to our forum. Why, I have no clue, except to spam us or try to steal membership personal information. Anyway, as we check membership applications, we look at IP addresses. If their address shows as a known spam source, we ban that address to prevent further use of it. Your phone temporary address most likely was one of those identified as a spam address.
Do me a favor and next time this happens, shoot me an email and I'll look at your account and see if I can find the address and unlock it.

Well, you are on again. I need you to send me an email when you TRY to log on and can't. While you are blocked/banned, I can look at your account and try to unlock it. But I can only do it during the time when you try to log on and you get the banned message.
