gunpower stealth help please

hi everyone, ive got a 22 gunpower stealth which will cock as it should with sub 12ft/lb bits in but as soon as i try to upgrade to a different hammer it just wont cook. if i assert preasure on one of the sears it will cock but not safely. many thanks for any help/advice folks .

Dont know the gun,but it seems your hammer spring goes coil bind,if there is an adjuster,try to lower the preload or check the space available in the new hammer for the spring by comparison with the original hammer,assuming the geometry of the new hammer is adequate for the sear.
Hope some Talon,Condor owner can help you better.

many thanks fabio for your reply. i measured pretension before fitting new hammer and used original spring so guess either as you say how hammer was made or sears.

try pulling the trigger, while you try and c0ck the gun.  mine is goofy sometimes... i have an AirForce Condor SS, wlhich i think is the same as your gunpower stealth.  i have the auto safety removed, and sometimes if i c0ck the gun the sear won't catch, pull the trigger with the hammer all the way forward, and you will hear a little click, as the sear drops.  i have taken it apart a dozen times, and cannot figure it out.  this frame did that the day i unboxed it... 10,000 pellets later, still doing it.  go figure.  its never once discharged when i didn't want it to, but.... still makes you wonder.

thats very interesting ill try that and yes ive removed my safety also.standard hammer just cocks perfect but have 5 ungraded hammers and with any of them just wont catch/cock. feels like sear just isnt catching the upgraded hammers and a massive thanks for your help.
