Thanks for the heads up. The Hatsan pellets are actually rebranded H&N, usually at a better price.

In the past the Vortex ammo from Field Supply had made in CZ Republic on the lid
Those ordered today have made in Germany on the lids
Hope they are as good or better that the CZ branded ones.

I ordered a ton last fall. At that price I just couldn't help myself. When they close the sale at Field Supply check the Wing Supply website sometimes they run the sale for a little longer.

Got me 4 tins of the Hatsan 30 cal too! It goes soooo fast!

On my last order, two tins opened up inside and there was not much packaging/protection. The folks on the forum suggested ordering in 5 tin groups, so you get a full sleeve and its wrap. Also, the tins do not have the tape holding the lid on. So be careful on your quantaties.

The .30's are JSB's regardless of what the pics show on the website.  It's the deal in the .30 pellet world for sure.  The other calibers are H&N's (check the weights, that's what tells you which is which), but the .30's are JSB's.

Also, order whatever tin qty you like..I and a bunch of other guys have been around and around with FS about their packing.  I've begged them not to send me replacement tins when I had tins pop open but nothing was damaged, but it's like they're programmed to send out free replacements.  I don't say this to abuse them...I say this so you don't order more than you want.  Order what you want/can afford and know that if you get a damaged tin they will replace it free of charge.  It's the worlds stupidest profitability policy, but it's very customer service oriented.  As you can tell, I'm not quite sure how to feel about it

I nominate you as ".30 cal volume shooter of the year"...30-40 tins?   My Hatty 135/.30 would wear my arm out shooting that much!

Well, it's more of an economical decision than pellet usage. Although I do use about 5-10 tins per year between hunting and matches. The prices will eventually keep rising so best to get them when it's reasonable. Like when the cost of .22 LR went way up several years ago and still hasn't really come back down to what it used to cost.

My order arrived today. Regardless of what the web page states made in Germany, the tin IS labeled made in CZ Republic. All arrived with no damage.
