I did a couple chrony strings with my Xisico Sentry I bought from FDAR

Actually that screw was tight on this one but I did use blue locktite on it. 
Both of the screws on the saddle (part that the stock screws into) were loose, screw on the rear of the trigger group and one of the breech screws.
Those Chinese sure are in a hurry when they assemble these guns and honestly don't give a rip I'm sure.

I have had such bad luck with Chinese assembled equipment that I totally disassemble and inspect everything before I use it.
Especially machine shop equipment so this is necessary because of their lack of quality control.

Bob the Chinese guns are all like that and what you do is probably the best idea of all.  I was really happy with the way this gun was shooting when I took it apart for this first time, I've also found a small crack in the stock when working on it, probably like that from the beginning.  It's a minor crack in a spot where it wouldn't make a difference if it cracked more, if it does I'll spread the crack and get some wood glue in it but if it doesn't crack any further I'm not going to worry about it.
If I hadn't taken it apart there would have been problems for sure.  I just got it back together and did another 32 shot chrony string and am very happy with the way it's performing now, I'll be leaving it this way because I've no doubt the shooting experience in the field will be excellent, it already was shooting very accurate before but shooting slugs the way it was I think that it'll be even better yet the way it is now.

Here's my latest chrony/pic of the 705-9K and I'm pretty happy with the results I got from going from .110 ports to .156  and I think it will do just fine there.

Am I correct in looking at those TP are made from alum?  Do they still have a "O" ring on each side?

You may be able to use the power wheel a click or two higher,
for an average of what you had in the first string fps?

Those are aluminum TP's the one on the left is the stock one that came out of the gun, the one on the right is the one that originally came out of my .25 cal and that's the one that I put in it.   I had to drill out the valve exhaust port and the port in the breech to 5/32" as well.  I was thinking about going bigger than 5/32" but it would have gotten into the sealing surface for the poppet on the valve.  Anyway I can't wait to get out in the woods with this gun with the power that it's delivering now.

I have got a sneaking suspicion,
that these Sentry's 702/705's would be an excellent launcher, for very HEAVY weight pills in 177 caliber?

I am thinking real HARD on a 177 rifle...................

If and when my order get's here,
I'll do some careful measurements on the internals/valve etc............
as I have to replace all "O" rings and hopefully stop the air leaks, I have in both the 22 & 25 calibers.

Holy cow ordered that 702-5 this morning and it's already been shipped UPS, just check my email and I had a UPS Quantum view of it already.  I did go out for a short woods walk this afternoon, I wanted to get the .22 sighted in and it wasn't far off, didn't see anything though, it's so saturated out there a person would be lucky to see any critter, at least the birds were out.  I zeroed it for 40 yards and it's now dead nuts on.

I see that Mike is out of the .22 705-9K's now he's supposed to be receiving another shipment towards the end of June.  I did receive my 702-5 yesterday around 11AM, all I did was open the box and take off the plastic bag on the gun and have a quick look see.  I may be putting some of my 19.6 grainers over the chrony soon to see what it's doing on pwr setting #4.  I did cock and shoot it without a pellet and they're definitely loud.

 Mine seems to max out with the hammer spring nearing the 4.5 mark, I did go higher but hammer bounce was creeping in too much, maybe a debouncer mod on order ?

I fixed a leak in the 705-9K a few days ago, it appeared that it was leaking from the degas part, when I opened it up there was quite a bit of debris throughout the degas block (sludgy gritty stuff) encircling the o rings and a lot of it on the valve side of the block.  It didn't appear that any of that stuff got down in the valve but I did a little more work on the valve while I had it apart, I burnished the valve seat with some fine steel wool.  First time out after fixing the leak I did manage to get two red squirrels with it.

In the morning I got out with no luck getting a red squirrel in my sights so just before I left (way to hot by that time) I did a three shot group with it.

My Xisico Sentry Deluxe has become a go to rifle recently, it's a fantastic squirrel gun with plenty of power and gives me a considerable amount of shots per fill next time I get out with it I'll try doing a 50 yard group with one of my pinup targets.  The 27.5 grain BBT's that I've been casting fit it perfect and shoot really excellent from it.

Relatively older post I ran across when searching for how to de-gas my Sentry 705-9-T .25 w Mikes tune. But before getting to that I just had to say thanks for doing such a good job on this Sentry tune/mod review. It's really appreciated the way you followed through posting well laid out updates and specifics that are valuable to seasoned airgunners, and those (like myself) breaking into the PCP market with these gateway-drug priced guns.

I've found that mine shoots very well out to about 50yds and I'd consider it a great value. As I've gained extra-extra birthdays I prefer carrying a lighter rifle so I unweighted the front of my Sentry by simply removing the surprisingly heavy fore-stock. My vintage eyes also need a virtual telescope to accurately see past the end of the barrel so I gave back some weight and mounted a 6-24x50 that seems to meet my need. It'd be nice to upgrade the suppressor too but it sounds like a PIA to mod. 

Unlike my .25 AV Avenger, I never did figure out how to bleed most of the pressure off of the Sentry to store it rather than simply cycle through empty rounds. Maybe I'll find an obvious answer or somebody will chime in. Also looking for a parts diagram after seeing your reference to loose screws from the mfg, and debris in the de-gassing valve.

Mike being that's the 705-9-T it does have a bleed screw on it but you need to take the forestock off to access it, I've got the 705-2 prototype to the 705-9 which doesn't have that bleed screw, it's basically a long tube with no openings for a bleed block or anything.  In reality that gun would be a perfect nominee for a regulator because it's the biggest airtube I've seen on any of the 705's.  I haven't shot that gun in about a year and it's still holding air just where I left it.  It also had a different valve in it than what my 705-9 has which I was able to port to 3/16" straight into the valve without having to worry about cutting into the poppet sealing surface, that gun is capable of 65fpe with 38.5 grain BBT hollowpoints however doing that much energy I only get about 10 good shots from it so since then I backed it off considerably down to 50fpe shooting my cast 25 cal "Hunters" and now getting 24 good shots with it.
