Wayne= Your a lucky man to have state land right out you door. Yes i am in suburbia so silence when i shoot in my yard is my number one goal. I know i can find a moderator to fit. I was just wondering how much of a pita the factory one is to remove.
Zed= That's what i was afraid of. Did you eventually get it off with heat? Could someone tell me the O.D. of the barrel. Donny fl makes slip on adapters in 10,11,12,14, and 15 mm . I have used one before & they work.
I was doing a search trying to find the weight of these Rex scopes a guy said that the Rex scopes are actually Schmidt and Bender or Swarovski brand that have minor flaws or cosmetic damage and can't be sold at a regular cost of $1600-$2200. He said that REX actually stands for Reconditioned, Extremely X-pensive

Does Huma make a regulator for these guns Having a regulator in one would help considerably for the loudness IMO, I'd probably regulate the .25 to about 2200 to 2300 psi, I think you'd have good energy at those pressures once you had the ports opened up some more, the baffles in the permanent moderator would probably be sufficient enough to quiet it down. You could also back off on the hammer as well at those pressures and probably not be using as much air per usable shot.I was out shooting the prototype today shooting some slugs that I cast and sized up this morning and I was very surprised and happy with the results, even with that little Bugbuster that I have on it it was giving me some very good accuracy, I'm convinced that opening up the ports another .020 is a must so this gun is more adept for shooting the 35.3 grainers that I cast up this morning, the weight of them is very consistent with not very much variation in the weight. I'm going to do another couple casting sessions of the BBT's very soon knowing what I know now.
Lots of info online about the 702 sentry but not to much on the 705? From what i have read the 705 has a longer barrel, longer air tube & the side lever. I haven't read any bad reviews about these guns so that's good. BTW i see that HUMA now has a reg for the sentry.
