A new challenge…I’m taking my Benjamin Marauder Woods Walker because it’s supremely accurate and that’s exactly what I need for this special hunt. Special hunt, yes, I’m going on a pine cone hunt. Those things are everywhere! Time to cut the population down! No seriously, to knock those bad boys out the tree you must hit them directly in the stem! The stem is a very small target, so challenge yes it’s a challenge and it’s on! Your turn – Pine Cone Challenge!

Years ago we would go "up north" for a week of musky fishing.  During the hot afternoons we would sit and shoot the sap filled pinecones with our .22LR and watch them explode.  Easier to hit center of mass than the stem.
