Keeping the weight of the bottle back without it getting in the way of your sight picture is the way to go, but-Single Shot? Who asked for that? I hope that's a typo or this thing is dead in the water.

Airforce Airguns has been selling only single shots since 1994...

Yeah, I realize that, and that they have a solid customer base, and a slew of aftermarket parts and people willing to help out. This gun doesn't, and most importantly, won't. This model probably isn't going to be the basis of some new product line where SPA goes all in for modular single shots. Getting parts for a SPA, while not impossible, is a pain too. Not in the same league or comparable to Airforce for these reasons, to me. If Airforce would take on this design, that would be great. jmo

The PP700 is probably SPA's best selling model, and it's a single shot. Many of us have had great results with the majority of SPA's offerings, and this might make a good high power slug gun. This is just a copy of an Airforce gun with a reg and in a shorter package for a better price, and yes I agree, probably not the basis of a new line of similar guns. If Airforce took on this design, it would be overpriced and unregulated.

SPA is supposed to be coming out with a lot of new guns this year from what I've seen over the past year.

Good points, and you might be right. I wish it all the success, really. My favorite airgun is my P15, and I have a lot of time and effort into modding it. Parts have been a (time) problem. I love single shots, especially pistols, because of robustnes and simplicity. The PP700 is a shining example of that. I will be interested if the early adopters find this to be as rugged but it seems to me that the single shot rifle market is very entrenched with Airforce. Evanix/Gamo hasn't made much of a dent with their single shots and they have been around for a while too. We will see. I was just hoping, when I first saw this gun, that it was going to be a magazine fed sidelever, my preference these days. Oh well.

Matt I have the M11 and I can shoot the really long stuff from that. It's not the same as the P15 and more like the SPAM16 mags that I use on my Airmax Dominator.

The LOP on that gun looks excessive and so does the distance from the butt to where the scope mounts. Shouldn’t bother the guy in the pic though.

I think the gun is smaller than it looks, that's only a 300cc bottle. It doesn't look like any of the guys on the youtube reviews are having trouble.

Must just be how I see the pic on my iPad. I figured bottle length 10” so that only leaves 4” for average LOP. It looks like there is 4” from bottle to trigger and that doesn’t include the butt plate. If the whole gun is smaller than it looks then that makes sense. I was assuming it was a .48L bottle.

That gun with a long barrel wouldn't be nearly the hiking stick that a regular Airforce gun is. That one could wear a 32" barrel and still be fairly manageable.

SPA has been advertising this on their website for nearly 6 months. They also have an arrow-gun, too.

I see nothing wrong with the design- a reverse-bottle-bullpup extra-long-barrel gun. I could see something like this becoming a darling for those who want to reach and touch critters a long ways away

personally i will buy one as soon as it will be available!
you forget to say that is different trigger systeme and i cross my fingers it s an improvement vs original airforce which is horrible.
other thing it s fully regulated and easy to setup at different pressure!!so you can setup everything like new fx line...but without failure!!here it s a condor base so it will be a rock!!!
you just to add longer plenum to increase the power up to 60j.
few points i dislike:
it s pretty heavy gun!!
ugly looking
not trigger adjustable apparently
ugly cocking
integrated shroud system instead external suppressor to keep the gun compact
