Someone had eaten the PB from the bait station last night so the ding donger was called into action this evening. At a little after 1am it started chiming and lo and behold this big male was nibbling on it. I quickly grabbed the P-rod and loaded it with a JSB RS sleeping pill, turned on the IR, placed Nat Mini on the tripod, and peered thru the scope and yup, still there. He was facing me at a slight angle so I placed the illuminated dot on his forehead and let the pill go...thwap...he wobbles then drops str8 down...a largish 16” male. Shot entered his right ear and out his left side. He had been fighting as his ears are tattered and quite heavy. First one for Nat Mini the P-rod!

Tom, thank you so much! This P-rod feels almost toy like but it sure is accurate and fun to shoot..quiet too! So glad your beautiful wife is doing well!

Luis, thank you very much! It was an easy peazy shot as it basically was nibbling away on the PB and not zipping around, thank goodness!

LOL Carl! And thank you very much! I also live vicariously through others like Luis’s, SteveOh, Paul, Kevin and many others ratting throughout the year! But you should definitely build a bait station as rats are plentiful and fun to deliver sleeping pills to..they also can be quite skittish making it kinda fun to get a bead on them.

Buddy, thank you very much! I’ve only gotten 3 so far this year but they ranged from 15” to 17”! Not a lot but QUALITY....if you can call a rattus quality! LOL!

Frankly I had expected a pic of your Prod in its Sunday best and with maybe a little white flower on the scope to celebrate the occasion... OK not a flower but at least some holy oil or water next to it

It didn't take you too long. It's just that I was faster causing havoc in the backyard critter population with my new Prod than you were

Harry, I thought about the christening photo, oil, flowers..but it was 1am! LOL! I am so glad I got the P-rod though! It’s better and more fun than I had imagined! It did feel like an eternity before the first rattus!
