This is one of my favorite 600's to shoot.
Somewhere I have the custom holster for it as well

Was the nickel stock? Yikes you said modified. Lol They are cool but way too loud for my backyard so mine sits!

Wow. I didn't think zinc could be plated like that. (Now that I think about it my first cap-firing six-shooter was chrome-plated.)
Pretty.
We had a guy with a completely chrome-plated (barrel and all) AKM that used to bring it to the range where I worked. It ran just fine. Turns out that his brother ran a plating shop.
Be safe,
J~

This gun came back from England where it was done.
It's one that Ingvar had. The black grips are molds of original grips too.
A very well put together pistol, and the contrast between the nickel and black gives it a pleasing appearance, along with a great site picture.
This pistol is also photographed on the back cover of one of the blue books, along side the custom holster (which is around here somewhere)

I must admit I have never liked chrome or nickeled guns that much. Everyone loves the Hy-Score nickel versions cause they are rare but I just never cared for them. I think when it comes down to it they never age that well? Bluing can still hold character as it ages?
