Quite a few aea airguns for sale on ebay at what seems like a decent price. Anyone have any experience with these? Are they decent?

Just a few observations
All the guns are all from the same seller
U.S. based (MASS)
Member since 2014
100% positive feedback;but ALL as a buyer/none as a seller

IMO, as an eBay buyer, if you wish to consider his guns:
- Research the guns so you can speak intelligently about them
- Engage in e-mails with the seller & get a feel for doing business with him/her/it
- Ensure that the seller will allow returns

theres a few threads going on AEA on this forum , seems like more than a few already own them.. mostly the 9mm semi auto.. the vendor looks reputable , and happens to be in the area of New england airguns , the main US importer for Aea

Which EU countries are those?
You can get firearms in Germany. Bit of a PITA, especially pistols, but certainly available for civilian purchase.

theyre more strict.. Certainly in the Uk almost no civilian owns a pistol , and few a rifle... I was comparing the the US.. where few people will buy a pepper ball gun for home defense

The UK is not an EU member. They had a very special arrangement and are now even ending that.

I am looking forward to cheaper tx200s.

Cops are civilians too and they carry pistols at times in the UK.

i would also consider that if is not coming through authorized AEA-USA dealer you will have little state-side support, Zak may not warranty it but im sure he can order you parts and provide service if available, other than that you could have to talk to TAIWAN

I have a AEA HP semi auto carbine in 22 I bought from Zach it shoots great good accuracy at 25yds farthest I've shot it so far, it's a beast for power shooting the 18gr JSB 1000+fps, JSB 25 and 34gr pellets 900+fps been getting 3 mags from a 3400psi fill, the carbine is pretty lite but the trigger is a little heavy but manageable. I'll try an add some pictures later of it. For the price of $550 shipped you can't beat it for semi auto.

no they are not, they go to the germany show

the ebay seller is not a dealer just someone who bought a bunch and is selling them, not affliiated with Zak and AEA USA

from my undestanding even if you don't get a semi-auto the parts are easy to install for conversion

from what ive seen , the AEAs use a shroud piston to recoil the action.. So in theory they could be quiet ( but havent seen any reviews mentioning noise.

the ebay guns are not AEA USA, i am 100% certain, they are aea airguns but they have not been tested it seems, some are having issues
AEA USA is in GEORGIA, gettting your guns from ZAK the owner is your best bet he is going out of his way to solve all AEA gun owners issues
As a new enterprise he faced the simple fact that someone noticed AEA was a promising platform and getting a bunch in could lead to a good profit in a short run, they got a couple hundred guns in and are dumping them, anyone with enough money and access to a customs broker can try this method but without a commitment to what you sell you fail everyone buyer, dealer, maker

I almost jumped on these after seeing their videos and seemingly good price point but I'm glad I waited. The guns are unrefined. Heavy non-adjustable triggers. No power adjustment whatsoever. Seals getting damaged from unchamfered edges. Many have magazine feed issues. Not particularly quiet and not threaded for add-ons.

I think there is a lot of potential, but time will tell if this manufacturer can fix the issues and refine the platform.

I just noticed Zak is also selling on ebay, there was one seller out of Groton mass that was the non-aeausa, the one shipping out of Georgia is the real deal

looks like they need to be refined a bit …..cool concept … triggers seem to be a problem with a lot of the semi autos + power adjustment .. who ever gets those 2 adjustable and dialed in will do great … the next one I am checking out when all the info is available is the hatsan invader , its around $600 we will see how adjustable their new set up is ...

I took a chance on a .22 HP Varmint. The feedback I read on carbine was positive vs. the problems I've heard with the semi-autos. I'll report back when I've had a little time with it.
