Crosman 101-102

About 7 or 8 years ago I picked up two crosman 101's and a 102. All cosmetically nice, mechanically all intact. Performance is severely lacking and in need of rebuild. After a little oil and testing with 6 pumps, the 102 and one of the 101's will dump all air but very low velocity.  The other 101 also with 6 pumps can be cocked and fired 3 times in a row with no additional pumps and will dump air each time. So my question is, who is the goto guy for rebuilding these old pumpers?

Given your in Indiana Baker Airguns in Ohio would be closest, Rick at Precision Pellet would be other option.  These are not hard guns to seal.

True. They're fun guns to work on. Even the special spanners to unscrew the valve are often homemade. One of my favorite Tom Gaylord quotes is about resealing a Crosman 101; "So easy a caveman can do it". I think most cavemen were all gone when the 101 came out.  Often the original hammer springs get weak and don't release all the air. One of the sources 45flint listed might have the spring.

Thank you for the references. It isn't the difficulty of the job it's the number of irons in the fire.
