Yep.
I also use the pull-trough from the front of the barrel.
From the front you have to use a plastic straw to get the string past the muzzle brake.
The snakes are easier.
Two, I also use cleaning pellets (2 at a time in front of a lead pellet).
The pellets are soaked in dishwashing liquid.
Then the process is repeated several times with dry pellets again in front of a lead pellet.
Then after the barrel is dry, I shoot two pellets (with the lead pellet) soaked in silicone oil.
Unless I have been shooting in a very dusty/windy condition, or in the rain, the barrels on my air arms are only cleaned when the accuracy diminishes.
Of course the way I shoot it is very hard to tell when accuracy diminishes...
IMHO....Don’t over do it..
We have a fellow here in Northern California, considered one of the premier FT competitors in the country, who after he completes his pre-match sight-in, cleans his barrel. He shoots a PCP and shoots 10 cleaning pellets through the bore before the match begins.
He is dealy..

I pull patches thru mine every outing, right wrong indifferent? I don't have a picture, but I made several weights out of copper tubing, around 1.5" long, and I believe it was .125" . Bought a foot at Ace hardware. Cut it off, deburr both ends. I use the orange trout line, run it thru, knot it, melt it. Other end about a foot and half, slip knot. I drop it thru, breech to muzzle, and pull it straight thru. Change the line out if it gets fouled or dropped. I pull it thru with TSI 301, Barricade, Ballistol, then dry patches. Always worked good for me.
