Hi Dan, I just bought my striker edge .25At 25 yards I’ll shooting inside a golf ball size circle. I have screwed the trigger adjustment screw in all the way. It’s a bit better now. I ordered the bearings to install a bearing on that spring pin. I saw it on YouTube. I’m not sure what else might help. I don’t know how to make a spring. I need some help making this trigger smoother. If the bearing install doesn’t help should I go to a gunsmith? Or order the trigger from the lady in South Carolina? The name is escaping me right now. Any help would be great. I really like this gun. Thanks Dwight
Thanks Dan, I saw the wire on amazon. I’m leaning towards the Hatsan 95 with the Quattro trigger , I’ll be doing more reading. They have refurbished for under $200I will see about finding a longer screw for the time being, if the bearing works, I will let you know. Should be here Wednesday. On YouTube if you search Hatsan striker edge trigger, you will see three videos by air gunner, the last one is the better one. Thanks Dwight
"Up and Back" is only for the Quattro triggers.I watched those videos by AirgunnersEdge a long time ago and just refreshed my memory by watching them again.Yes, that is basically the same as the Crosman bearing trigger fix. Many love that fix and I guess it works well for their rifles. That has NEVER worked well on "my" Crosman triggers. The bearing fix gave all my Crosman triggers (yours may be different) a single stage super short pull hair trigger. WAY to close to the edge for me. I removed the bearing and went back to a carefully adjusted longer screw. Now they all have a 2-stage feel with a clean predictable break point. That's what I prefer on my springers. As an experiment to lower the trigger pull force on one of the Crosman rifles, I bent a new lighter trigger blade return spring. That reduced the pull force to about 2 lbs but kept the same travel and clean break point.I use only M3 x 8mm adjustment screws and similar lighter trigger blade springs for my Hatsan triggers.PLEASE be careful when testing trigger mods like the proposed bearing fix. The larger diameter of the bearing PRELOADS (moves) the first sear lever and can reduce the sear overlap a LOT before you ever touch the trigger blade! If the overlap is too small you will get a dangerous hair trigger. That trigger can release/fire if the rifle is "bumped" and I've even had a trigger release when I returned the barrel to lock-up. Lucky I had the rifle safely pointed into a target. Almost needed an underwear change on that one.Trigger tolerances vary and the bearing fix MAY be just right for your rifle and your trigger preferences. Just be EXTRA careful when testing your modifications. Here is another Hatsan trigger video by ww321 that covers much of what I do to my (non-Quattro) Hatsan triggers.Polishing, lubing, longer screw, DIY lighter spring, and straightening that way-too-curvy blade are my go-to fixes for the simple (non-Quattro) Hatsan triggers.
Awesome thanks very much. I’ll risk my life at Lowe’s tomorrow to see if I can find a screw. 😷😷Thanks for all the info. Dwight

Yes I think they got skeered (scared) because today not one sparrow tried to get in the house. I was ready. 🙄Those little birds will be bloody hamburger after catching a 25 cal pellet! Should make one heck of a meat-POP sound along with a cloud of red mist and feathers Good Luck with going to the store and the trigger mods
