Keith, I want to stretch the legs on miss Liberty so a 100+ lane is good for me too so reserve One for Keith and I. I was hitting a 1" steel gong at 100 yards last year without breaking a sweat with her, I really want to test how far she'll go before gravity wins.

Lol, we might get a lane.  Sounds like most of AL will be there.  I wonder if we can back our vehicles up to the shootings lanes like in the past.

I sure hope we can Keith cause my tired old joints do like to walk very far at one time.

Thanks for doing that leg work for me Mike. They had not got back to me. Not sure if I mentioned above but, the girl in the courthouse that I signed up with told me there was a local guy that did the 4H thing. I'm sure CMP will reach out to him.

Kieth... yes there will be room on the 100+ yd spaces to get your truck to your lane. The 60yd lanes are inside the actual outdoor arena. It will be a short walk to those as we can't get vehicles inside the fence.

However..... some of the plans I have in my head may change when others get here on Friday. They may have better ideas for the layout.

It really has been my observation, though, that yelling hot range or hot line will cause a chorus to join in, helping insure that no one gers hurt.

Be careful.   While at the local outdoor range I have had folks fire downrange when I was retrieving targets.   Yes, I did call out to the rest of the line before going out onto the range and got responses from *most*, but ONE IDIOT did not hear the rest of them and fired while I was downrange.   This was with FIREARMS, not AGs.

This is an *uncontrolled* range... in that there is no range master.

Needless to say, as it was crowded that day, the offender was asked to leave in NO uncertain terms by nearly everyone on the line.

That only has happened once for me on that range, but it did make me HYPER vigilant about making sure that EVERYONE was on the same page when ANYONE was downrange.

I have had a couple of people thank me for being an AH about it and a few who called me an AH.

Yes the Marauder is pretty as well as accurate. It's dressed in a Boyd's Blaster TH stock and 24" barrel under the shroud makes for great accuracy with slugs

Lloyd always does top notch work for sure. I still have his redesign of my non sealable Hipac units he made for me that are holding air with no issues.

Congrats!  I remember Lloyd offering me a .30 cal barrel and parts back in 2018.  I turned him down at the time, not wanting to mess with what I already had going with my Marauders.

I would like to propose a  competitive event if something like this isn't already on the schedule.  In the early days of competitive mountain biking every race had an event called the "Huffy Toss"  wherein participants would compete to see how far they could throw a Huffy bicycle.  I propose the Cheap Airgun Toss!  Participants will compete to hurl box store brand  airguns for distance and style.  I have some guns I will donate!

I think this would be an interesting event.  I vote for it.
