Not my cup of tea.I live on a fixed income as well but manage my dollars responsibly also.Just had to say it.BDActually, on my occasional road trips and travels away from home for 2-3 days at a time, I often find the older places in town to be pretty fun to stay in. I have met some really cool people doing that. When I went to Arkansas a couple of years ago, I stayed in Jasper the first night....just drove down there and found a place on the river that was only about 50 dollars per night. The owners had been there since the place had been opened in the 50's, if I'm not mistaken. It was old, and not the prettiest place I've stayed in, of course, but it was nice enough. Clean, the AC worked, had cable tv and Wi-Fi service. I find places like that to generally be lots of fun.LOL

Quote from: BackStop on January 19, 2020, 03:52:27 AMWOW! I haven't traveled in a long time, so $70 per night sounds REALLY expensive to me for a *cheap* hotel/motel room.Sorry... just had to say it.Fixed/limited income may have a lot to do with that equation.I have been looking around online at local accomodations, and found a place in Troy that is 45 dollars nightly. I think it may have been a Quality Inn

Bill will there be parking for the self contained(RV) crowd. I don't need hook ups just a place to park.
LOL John.... I don't know about your neck of Alabama but here, if neighbors don't hear guns shots coming from your property for a 24 hour period, they come and see if everything is ok.Loud and proud, Brother...
Speaking of big bore and longer range...I have about 40 1'x3'x2mm high strength steel blanks that I paint with white latex house paint and apply 1/2" orange yardsale stickers on. Ya'll can knock the heck out of them...
