If you don't make it, and you guys end up having a Midwest regional meet, I want an invitation. One of the reasons I go is because I want to see YOU.  I gotta give your wife something to chuckle about! Lol

My decision will be based on how my Dad is doing by then, the last 6 months have kinda sketchy.

Yep and flyers can now be printed and begin showing up around town here. I have help doing that.

I can send down a 100' tape if you like so you can get some actual distances. I can mail it or send it with Jeff.

I'll get Pepsi to make up the banner and get it displayed at the end of the road. This is where they hang the banners for the annual rodeo and other events at the Ag Center. The rodeo sign is permanent and they adjust the date each year. It's already there for the weekend before the Fun Shoot.

I already have a big spool one. There is also one of those roller ones at work I can use. I have my range finder as well. Betty Lou and I are going to go down and take some preliminary measurements this weekend. We'll post pics here.

Christie, at the courthouse where I booked the event today told be that the Local 4H group has a guy that runs a BB gun educational group with local kids. She said she will contact the guy and invite them to the shoot. She said the guy is always looking for help.... this just may start something for me getting involved in that.

We also have the CMP program up the road in Anniston, Al. I'll reach out to them.

Speaking of the annual Rodeo..... There is an elevated announcement booth like the ones at most sporting venues. I wonder if we can gain access to the PA system for making announcements. On rodeo nights, we can sit on our front deck and listen to all the action.
