I know it is a solid and accurate gun but I don't like the way it looks.

Perhaps if it had a tube in lieu of a bottle it would tickle my fancy, I dunno.

Indeed gentlemen ... these guns are without a doubt a PCP AIR RIFLE and in no way look like conventional rifles. Many Air guns are purposely made to look similar to a powder burner being that's the mind set of many what a gun looks like. Then you have para-military space guns of which the modular design is more kin too. Different strokes ... Different folks

Exactly Scott.... in no way did I mean to down play the gun. It's a personal preference thing for me. I love to look at all types of airguns and I also like to hear the stories behind them. I'm just a little particular when it comes to dropping the money down for them.
You bet I want to see JSAR do well and continue to push the envelope to bring diversity to our sport.

I think when you try to make something look like something it isn’t, your compromising somewhere.

JSAR seems to have made no compromises with the design of this gun. Everything is designed with performance first and looks 2nd.

I want to apologize for the abrupt absence from my post lastnight. That was not my intention as I had just gotten the gun scoped and was headed to shoot in the dark for a little while to report back.

Something shortly after happened that changed many things. All I can say is our way of life as we know it is being threatened. So I probably won't get to shoot as much as I had planned on in the near future but that's life.

I'm happy to report it was shooting pretty good in some 20mph winds but wasn't doin anything too serious just feeling the gun out. The guns shooting the Hades at 970-980fps which was what I had with me when I had the Chrony out to get a quick baseline. Noise wise I thought it was shooting about 850fps and that I needed to crank the speed up. Lol nope. I like the trigger good 2 stage and light, cocking is nice and smooth. The shot cycle is very tame as someone has mentioned before essentially dead.

My main use for this gun will be slugs though and long range pesting. I'm going to pull the barrel and slug it then I got lots of different NSAs to try through it. Also different sizers to size to the barrel. That's kinda where I'll be going next with the gun. But it does shoot pellets very well, JSB 18gr, Hades and 16gr AAs. Also Edgun 18gr which are made by JSB which was all I put through it.
