We watched episode 1 of Black Mirror, called "Joan is Awful"

Really bizarre concept and funny as heck!

I really liked "Black Mirror".  Wish they would make more episodes.

It's not fittin' weather to shoot so, I watched "Saving Private Ryan" yesterday afternoon.

 We watched "John Wicke" last evening on Netflix. What a stupid, no story bunch of &^^& that is!  They shot a thousand bullets and killed hundreds in downtown NYC and nary a cop ever showed up.   Marjo got up and left the room, it' was so senseless.

 We watched "John Wicke" last evening on Netflix. What a stupid, no story bunch of &^^& that is!  They shot a thousand bullets and killed hundreds in downtown NYC and nary a cop ever showed up.   Marjo got up and left the room, it' was so senseless.

It's really supposed to be watched as more of a live action graphic novel,  it's not really meant for its real life authenticity, or realism,  just a pure action movie for the sake of action.  The only realism in the Wick anthology is the gun play,  there is never more than 6 rounds shot from a 6 shooter,  more than 7 from a 1911. If you went into it looking for some sort of plot or story, I really do understand the disappointment, there isn't any.  But for a pure action movie that strives for nothing more than to be an action movie, it's really pretty good.

Keanu Reeves in real life is a skilled action shooter.   I'm impressed by his gun handling in the John Wicke movies.   It's unusual to see magazine changes in a movie.  I'm less impressed by the gun handling skills of the hundreds of assassins he kills at close range.

I flushed a couple hours of my life down the toilet by watching Leave the World Behind.   An apocalypse movie starring Julia Roberts.   Ifeel  like a sucker who was conned by Netflix   It’s possibly the worst movie lve ever seen.   I kept hoping that it would get better because I like apocalypse movies but nope, garbage start to finish. Don't inflict  this awful movie on yourself unless you’re filled with self hatred or love seeing Julia Roberts as a middle aged Karen.

This reflects my feelings about pretty much every movie/series touted to be great on streaming services.  I'm almost to the point of refusing to even look at anything that the "critics" push, knowing that it is more likely to be garbage than good.  There are rare exceptions but positive reviews by the"critics" are usually the Kiss of Death.

Yes, here's my alternate ending.   At the end of the movie, after he shoots a couple hundred professional assassins, an innocent, legally blind, wheelchair bound, old woman (who just got a pistol permit) is panicked by all the shooting, reaches into her crochet purse, pulls her cute little pocket .25, drops the gun, and the AD hits Wicke in the eye socket killing him instantly.
