I watched "All Quiet on the Western Front" last night. It's a German movie on Netflix. It was a little hard to understand but, you could figure out what was being said. Boy howdy, the battle scenes were grisly to say the least.

The leading character was bayoneted at 11 minutes before the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

My grandmother was a high school history teacher, that movie was a requirement, and German was taught as a 2nd language back then. When I got to HS the 2nd language was Spanish

I guess I use that more than German now any way.
