I need some input on a scope for my discovery. I tried the bug buster because it was small and light but the eye relief was to short. I am looking for something light not to expensive has mil dots.

What do you guys have on yours?

I have a leapers 3-12x40.I have the non AO on this gun and it works great for hunting.Its light wieght and compact.

I have a Center Point 4-16 X 40 IR mil dot, $70 wally world, on my Marauder.

I have a Barska 4-12X40AO on my .22 Discovery. This scope was layin' around the house when the rifle was delivered. I had nothing else so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll probably look for a Hawke or something similar.

That Simmons is a great deal for the money and also note their(natchesshootersupply) deals of the side focus 4x14 and 6x18 master series prosports, fantastic scopes for about $70.00, heres one on my disco

Leapers 3-9 x 40 AO or even the 3-9 x 32 AO.... I did a test in twilight conditions and found the smaller objective scope was actually slightly brighter than it's big brother.... and it's cheaper and lighter.... Test results here....

I have a couple Disco's. Here is a BSA which cost $99.00 and is a fantastic buy for your Disco.

Stealth Tacticle Model: STS 6-24-44 Side Wheel Mil Dot. I bought a couple of these . Have one on my Crosman Venom Nitro.

I have a leapers 3x9x32 AO on both of my discos and I find them to provide excellent clarity and magnification and they give me everything I need for hunting with the disco. I also find this scope to be in perfect size proportion for the disco. The best thing is that optics planet sells it for $47.97 with free shipping. Here's the link...

Ratracer I have that one on my Maurader too. But I feel its a touch to heavy and long for my disco. I would like to keep it as light as possible.

I couldn't make up my mind between the 3x9 Leapers and the BSA, so I did the only reasonable thing and ordered two of each.

I have two disco's and I have the same scope on each one.
I got them at wally world for $54.
They are CenterPoint 3-9x32 non AO, mil-dot, and adj. red/green lighted recticle.
They work perfect for hunting. No AO to have to try and adjust and they are nice and clear.
Squirrels at 55 yds are not a problem.

I wish I could see through a 3-9-32 scope but my eyes are nothin like they used to be....

Now I am in the process of changing over to 50's from 40's and 44's.

You young guys prolly do not even need scopes with your young eyes...

For sure Jeff really only needs iron sites...

Him and Ed only hang scopes on their guns for decoration sake....

i use a nikko stirling 4-16x44 nighteater riflescope its an excellent scope very clear ..will do very good out to 50 yds and better another favorite of mine is the airforce 4-16x50 ...the both i would only use on pcp ,...good luck ...jorge
