Here ya go.  Just received mine from David this week.  Still don't know what direction the baffles go.  David said "big hole goes toward the barrel".  I don't know what that means.   
Did he mean towards the muzzle?

They are the same length 22xx/13xx long breech then.

Most likely, but I would email him and PM him just to be sure.  Rocker's extended shroud looks good on the Prod!  I think I am going to get me one.  I wonder if he has any left.

Looks real good, Mine is showing to be here Friday for my 1720T.

He means the large open end of baffle face the muzzle of the barrel and end with small hole face toward front end of shroud where the cap threads in to shroud.

I was trying to source SS ones that could be part of the kits.  He was suppose to be $9/piece in lots of 10.  Kept getting response that he was still procuring equipment to work on SS.   Anyway, just trying to reduce the stuff on my shelves.

I didn't see your post about making one at home until now, but I made a couple back about the same time and I did it the same way as you. I made a few other parts as well. I made some quick release pins for the 1399 stocks and end caps bolt handles and a brass barrel band. Here is a grip with an end cap, stock release pin, bolt handle and safety pin that I made and a pic of the barrel band before smoothing the edges and polishing it. Sorry about the pic quality from my cell phone back then.

Hah!  Two conflicting statements from two different people.  See?  I'm not the only one who is confused!  I guess I'm not so stupid after all for being confused.   

OK, David confirmed here that the first statement (large open end of baffle faces the muzzle is the correct orientation.  Thanks!

I think you have to be careful with muzzle of barrel vs muzzle of shroud.

The barrel muzzle is down inside the shroud.  That is where the first baffle rests against.  It is the same direction as the breech.

If communication is to be effective it is a must for the definition of terms and understanding of facts to be the same between the parties involved in the attempt. 
Heretofore what was thought or referred to as the muzzle shall only refer to the end of the barrel where the projectile exits the gun, and henceforth the the end of the shroud shall mean the end that the projectile exits the gun when a shroud is present.

Wow, now I'm still confused if I have the baffles put in backwards or not.  I thought I understood.

I don't have the shroud but it is pretty clear to me and I can picture it, because someone mentioned that the 1st baffle goes in front of the barrel's muzzle.  This means the baffles' LARGE opening facing the back of the gun (breech side).  The small faces forward - to the end of shroud.

Thank you Harry!  That finally clears it up.  I now have them backwards and it's very quiet.  I'll have to compare when I turn them all around.  I'll bet I won't be able to tell the difference.

These baffles are baffling.  I'm baffled by these baffles.   

Edit:  Just switched them.  Yep; can't tell any difference in the sound.

Mike, don’t worry...I had mine every which way and it made it quiet (testament to David’s incredible design), turned them “properly” large hole facing breech and it is even more muffled. Very fun mini carbines!

Try this, the big hole go towards where you load the pellet and the small holes got towards where the pellet exits the shroud.
