Many Kudos to Motorhead...Again!

Based on my excellent experience with my RWS 460, I sent a second rifle to Scott for tuning...my Beeman HW97K in .22.  It was very accurate, fired very well...except for that twang. I got it back a couple of days ago, and shot it a few minutes ago.

Smokes!

Yeah, I expected the twang to be gone, but I honestly didn't expect what I got!  In every way, shape, or form, this already excellent rifle was better! 

I tellya what...even if I didn't live only a few hundred miles from Scott, I'd still pony up the shipping costs to send my rifles to him!  This gentleman is at the top of his game.  So...in that vein...off goes my HW57 to him on the morrow for his 'touch'. That rifle is just as accurate as any of my others, capable of shooting aspirins off of golf tees at 15-20 yards, but...the twang! 

So, if anybody is pondering who to use, I very highly recommend Motorhead!!!

Let me add something. I used to think that my TX200 was the smoothest air rifle I had.

Until today when I shot my HW97K,  460, and TX back to back.

I had adjusted my opinion.

The 200 will be going to Scott soon.
