Today has seen a flair-up in my Airgun Acquisition Disorder (AAD for short; better known as N+1)
An early morning perusal on "the bay" first turned up a Daisy 901 for about $32.00 shipped.
I did not own one, and having read that they are spiffy little rifles, I said "why not?"
I had no reasonable answer to that, so, it is on the way.

Next, a Crosman Model 1 popped up................ my Achilles Heel if there ever was one....
'Bout $130.00 has it headin' South as well.........

Then I opened the Crosman Magnum 2200 which arrived yesterday.
Like the seller stated, it is in beautiful condition.
He had indicated that it seemed a bit low on power, but I chrony'd it at 591fps with 14.3gr domes
Premiers @ 10 pumps......... that ain't bad........

A call to both Crosman and Daisy for spare parts, and the day is done (unless..................)

Look at it this way, the economy grows by regular people keeping the money moving. You alone are almost guaranteeing that there will not be an airgun recession anytime in the near (or distant) future.

Yeah, that airgun bug must be going on here in the south.
Got a summit ranger in 22 cal. Headed my way.

That airgun bug may be worse than the flu bug?

The "bug" keeps circling around here but I've been able to hold it off. Saving up for a photography trip. I think about the airguns then I look at my camera bag sitting there so lonely and aching for a road trip. And then camera wins.

I've been on lock down for a while now with NO more purchases! I keep eyeballing scopes though. I have one rifle in serious need of an upgrade. Maybe there will be some really, really good sales coming up.

Sickness is correct!

Finally looked in the safe and determined I really had to thin the herd. Already sold four pistols and one rifle. Next up will be my PO8 Luger (non-blowback), Daisy Powerline 45, one of my S&W 79G, and one of my Crosman 150.

It's just hard to buckle down and get off my rear end and put them up for sale. At 79 years old and with over 70 airguns, I don't have time to shoot them all and enjoy all of them. My problem is I just keep finding something else to buy. Sick, sick, sick!

Gear Acquisition Syndrome.

I can tell ya how many basses I've bought because of this...disorder.

Yet, it continues with springers. And poverty is not the antidote.

The Model 1 is beautiful. A new pump cup and it flings pellets really well!

Due to a delay in shipping, the seller of the 901 is refunding my shipping.....cost now down to $24.00 ! Sweet !!

I have purchased a Daisy 922 w/wood furniture...Can't wait !
And a bunch of 880 parts..............

Just can't help myself...................

I tried to get me a Phase I 2200 twice. The first time the button wouldn't let me bid. The second time, the seller didn’t have the decency to tell me if he/she sold it or not.

I’ve had a model 1 since new but I discovered a defect that I’ve only fixed recently, involving the front sight screw kinking the brass barrel. Had to find a whole new brass barrel, crown it, and press it into the front spacer. It shoots really nice now, compared to all over the place.
