What model is this old Crosman?

Looks like a model 109 or 110 Town and Country JR.

I'm leaning towards 109 because of the "177" stamping. But I don't know these guns well at all. Wonder if the gun shown is worth $100?

The owner insists it has "Model 108" stamped into it. The s/n is 282344. It doesn't seem to fit. Frankengun? This is the best he can do for a closeup:

After looking into the gun a bit more I'm convinced it's a 109. The missing end cap worries me. It was supposedly pumping up, though. Maybe rigged up somehow to get around the missing cap?

That the end plug for the T&C 108 not the Junior!  Have had both guns that will not work.

Don’t jump without a endcap been there with a broken one and had to send back the rifle. Everything depends on the end cap being solid.

Thanks, Steve. Yeah, $100 is a lot for me to spend on a parts gun, especially since I don't own any other 'vintage' Crosman guns.

Okay, the deal is the endcap is in the bottom tube but the upper part with the sight is broken off.

No problem- it's only $1.00. Don't I wish...

ETA- he took a magnifier and now thinks it is stamped as a 109. Now to see if there's a front sight/tube plug assembly to be had anywhere.
