Thanks, I put in an order. There always seems to be another project calling for a 13ci tank. The only issue I've run into with the off-brand regulators is creep and dressing the seat will generally take care of it. A recent example: https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=162983
Apparently you can't find QB79's anymore. That's really sad. With the Disco and the QB79 being discontinued, that's the end of a very cool era.

However supposedly you can get the Umarex Gauntlet tank block for less than the 79 tank block so converting a 78 to a tanker is still very much a viable thing.
Does anyone know the output pressure on this reg?Cam
I received 2 of these today and have tinkered with them a bit. I wanted to check the output pressure on them so I promptly grabbed the strap wrench to pull off the regulator. They used a judicious amount of threadlocker so that required some serious torque but I soon had them loaded into my test jig. The first one showed 840psi on a precision gauge. The second one 970psi.The spring is a Belleville stack rather than a coil spring. The gauge and Foster fitting are at 90° to each other rather than 180° like a Ninja tank. From the photo on ANSgear's site, it's not obvious but the bonnet has a bright silver mirror finish. As a hunter, I don't much care for it so I may hit it with some matte black. That's all for now
