This has been on the market now for a while. I nearly jumped on one when it first came out, but decided to wait. Now I am getting interested again. How are they holding up? How well do they work with a mag? How does .22 stack up against .177?
Having a Magazine is the main reason I have an interest. Last year when I was first looking there was a bit a bad press over the Stormrider Mag. I'm wondering if they have that sorted out?

I have had the Chaser configured as a rifle for several months in .22.  The magazines work and have not given any trouble. I would not hesitate to buy another. Have never used the pistol barrel. Dime sized groups at 35 yards all day long shooting H&N FTT 14.66 grain pellets. It lives by the front door always ready to go and my wife has dispensed a lot of pests here in our rural area.  Over 500 rounds so far and no problems.

Thanks for the info. I really struggle with this decision. I have a great 2400KT, fantastic rifle that is deadly accurate. It is single load only, that's the only issue. I took a shot on a Starling today, he was swinging on a grape vine. I hit him, but not terminally. In the time it took me to get another pellet out of the box, load it into the breech and bring the rifle back up for the shot. He had been able to hop over to a place I couldn't reach him. Now, I hate starlings, but I don't want to be cruel. If I was using a rifle with a mag, I could have got back on target faster and been able to put him out of his misery. I'll sleep on this decision, but thanks for the input!

Since you have a 2400kt maybe one of the aftermarket mags may fit the bill?
Not that there is anything wrong with buying another gun

Mikeflys, I have had the Chaser since it's introduction. The first one received would not pierce the cartridge. There were a few complaints of that at the time. PA replaced it and it has been fault free. As for the mag I have two of them that have not given trouble. I did spray some silicone in them and they operate a bit smoother. I do that with all my mags. I have the .177 as I mostly target. My niece has the .22 to kill snakes with. She has had no trouble with it but it is trouble for the snakes.

I have another thread going where I ask about a mag kit for the 2400. All the ones that look practical cost as much as the chaser.
