UTG Dovetail to Weaver rail adapter

i bought two, on a whim.  i got mad at dovetail mounts that just slip and slip and slip.  i looked at the reviews, and couldn't find a thing about one slipping!  its 3+ inches of solid gripping dovetail, WITH a scope stop pin.  i figure that will hold just about anything!  installed on both my Big Cat, and my CFX.  scopes aren't moving at all, and it raised my scopes up to a comfortable level.  Definatly buy!!!  one of those will be a permanant attatchment on every air rifle i own from now on.  and for only 9.95 + shipping... not a bad price.  i might have to stock up on a few.

using this DOES raise up your scope 1/2 an inch, so lower profile rings will likely be needed, unless your like me and like a higher scope.

  They make another model that offsets about 1 1/2" from the base.  The weird thing about it is it has the set screw for the recoil stop on the opposite side from the offset. So you can only use it with the recoil pin if the scope is 1 1/2" further AWAY from your eye. Won't work with the bugbuster unless you already have a scope stop but it works great on the Titan with a 3x9..  Here it is..

you shouldnt have had the dovetail mounts slip if they had the stop pin. i had a few but they make the scope set pretty high.

looks like a stretch but as long as your comfy. i used it on a 78 with the bug buster and it worked out fine but there is no recoil to worry about. why they dont put a pin on both sides is beyond me. by the way, hows your latest titan holding up?

scrapped the titan.  i got tired of dealing with it.  got my $ back, and rocked the Gamo BC 1200 until the seal popped on her..... however the CFX is fantastic and as soon as i can get the big cat tuned....

I used this on my B3, I reversed it and used it to set my centerpoint 4x16x40 to the rear, I made a wooden stock extension screwed it to the back of my stock and put on a slip on recoil pad to cover it. (looks great) By moving the scope back makes loading the B3 much easier.

i havn't totally decided yet.  i'm leaning towards shadow, but it sounds like he's buried in tunes himself.  i have most of hte hardware to make my spring compressor, and need to make another trip to the hardware store, but i'm working towards it.  i can drop an engine in and out, but i'm lacking a hacksaw..... so i gotta find a way to cut my C clamp.

i bet mike melick could do it. i think that man can tune anything. gamo isnt much different than the chinese guns. all springers are basicly the same and i think it would be worth an email.

454, great call, I have the same 11mm to Weaver on my Titan GP and I love it. Great call, works like a charm and is so reasonably priced its ridiculous!

I needed a QD stud to mount my Harris bipod clone on the rail of my Condor.  I used the UTG dovetail to weaver, and not needing the stop  pin, I just screwed in a QD sling stud, the threads are the same.

 
Works perfect for what I use it for.
