The New Vortex Edge 22 Cal Barrel Works Great ! - Thank You SteveP-52

SteveP-52 gave me a 22 Cal Barrel ...for my 25 Cal Hatsan Vortex Edge Rifle.

I put it on this morning........ I shoots saw-eeeeet !

I got the scope on paper at 25 Yards then started dialing in the scope on a large spinner set out at 45 Yards.

The stick-on Birchwood Casey Target Spots were 2 inches in diameter.

I was shooting Crosman 22 Cal. 14.3 Grain Domed Ultra Magnum Pellets that SteveP-52 also gave me.

The bore on THIS Hatsan barrel was nice and tight.  Not like some of the newer Hatsan barrels that they have made lately

The barrel was removed when New but from an older rifle. It came off of one of Steve's older guns that he converted to 20 Cal.

My ten shot....... shot group was NICE and Tight.    Check out the picture and remember that the stick-on spot is 2 inches in diameter and the target is at 45 yards.

I took the shots while standing in the walk-thru back-door of my garage.   

I braced my off-hand on the door frame and rested the rifle in the V between my thumb and fingers of my outstretched Off Hand.

This ain't no Target Gun.... but it makes for a Real Nice....Short......Lightweight.......Hunting Rifle. 

Don't ask...the answer is ....yes...I got the Trigger ...Fixed !

OK......first of all..   Ya got to get your hands on a  "proven good"  barrel that is a direct fit for the make and year of the gun that you have.

You must have access to knowledge as to what fits what for which model and which year.

SteveP-52 ( Mr. Hatsan).....is my GO-To-Guy for all things Hatsan ....that I have questions about.

Then it is take your gun apart and work at fitting things up properly. (the devil is in the details)

It helps to have a Dremel tool..for the finer touches.

I have gotten..."hard go get"...  parts from others around here ..like longhunter (Scott D.) .. by posting want to buy ads in the classifieds

I also have a couple of "Parts guns"

I have got a big box full of.....Hatsan.. shims, screws, trigger parts etc., out in my work shop.   A real hodge podge of stuff.
