Sorry it looks aluminum and I'm not taking my gun apart to magnet test it. Btw there's aluminums that are more than adequate for the job. So it's not beyond reason. Unless you don't understand the boundaries of these materials.

Sorry but the question is NOT what YOU think it could be made of but what material the cocking shoe is ACTUALLY made of.

ACTUALLY, it was never questioned what it was made of. I was answering the question about the availability of a new style shoe and I was simply wrong suggesting that it was aluminum. If someone asked me directly what material it was I would have said I wasn't sure. But hey isn't nice to have people like you here to point out other people's unimportant mistakes and jump all over them and try to make them look stupid?

My R1 came with a silver trigger - no wear to speak of - safe queen.

And the Beeman Precision Airgun Guide 25th Anniversary Edition has the R1 with a color picture on page 9 with a silver trigger.
In fact most Beeman R series in the guide have silver triggers. The Beeman HW97 on page 17 has a gold trigger.
