you need to put a cocking arm incert in the cocking arm before you even fire it! or it'll eat up your compression tube on the out side like a hacksaw cutting into it! they can be bought from JM! other than that claen the barrel with ballistol and some patch's and shoot it!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I've never installed it before. My R7 came in the mail today and I sent it right back. Didn't want to go through the trouble of taking the gun apart even though I'm sure its easy enough and a fantastic gun by all accounts. I just didn't want to take the chance...my R9 will be here by next week.
Yes, it is a very big box. It came via fedex ground and I sent it right back by fedex ground. Total shipping back cost $16. Curious as to what Air Venturi told you. Did they say they would replace it if anything went wrong relating to that specific part?
