I just won an auction for a Crosman Air17 at $42.50 shipped, decent condition overall but it doesn't currently pump and is missing the pellet clip

Personally the guns don't do much for me but my dad's been telling me he wouldn't mind having a second one so I scored it for him.
The starting his was $22.50 and with just 2 hours left I threw in a bid, there were 7 watchers so I figured I had jumped the gun but to my surprise nobody else actually bid.
I put a rifled barrel in the one he's got now, and since this one has no pellet clip he can keep this one for BB's if he wants when I get it going for him .
Maybe I'll get lucky and it just needs a rubbing alcalhol flush and some secret sauce.

the big O ring on the pump head is worth checking.  Found one once,that was all it needed to pump.

Will do, I've heard they can be found at a hardware store.

The first Air17 and my 781 just needed an alcohol flush and some oil so I've never really had to reseal one of these before, clam shell Crosmans are a real familiar beast inside to me though so I'm not intimidating by any means.
