Cheap easy pump set up for Hw90 / Beeman Rx

I found (thanks to this forum) that rock shox makes a reasonably priced air pump that goes to 600lb. Its made to pump up mountain bike shocks. While looking for that I seen an adapter for the rock shox monarch shock that looked a lot like the theoben adapter. And guess what? It fits! The whole thing cost me 60 bucks with tax at a local bike shop. It's nice because the pump has a gauge and there's only one piece to adapt it to the gun. The only drawback is that the adapter is a little short so you have to charge the gun with the stock off. Big deal    Anyway I wanted to share my findings to help any other poor schlep wrestling with one of these things.

You are giving me hope in the event I need to have my Theoben resealed.  So far it is working fine, but because you are doing this you are leading the way!  Grats.

Good news. The Rock Shox Monarch shock adapter mentioned in the OP actually fits with the stock in place. For some reason I thought it wouldn't. Luckily I was wrong. Used the whole set up today. Worked great. Sixty bucks total, what a score!

It's a 20cal Beeman RX1. I haven't had the rifle long so I can't tell you what pellets it likes yet. There's not a lot to choose from JSB makes 2 types and H&N makes 2 types. It was making about 23fpe when I got the rifle. It was hardly ever used and overcharged at the factory so it quickly burned through the OE piston seal at that power. Just got it back together today. I put about 22 bar in it. There's some minor air lost disconnecting the pump so I can't say exactly. It's much easier to cock now and its still making about19.5fpe. JSB 13.73 exacts are going just either side of 800 fps. H&N 11.42 are going about 880. The extreme spread is pretty wide. I'm hoping the gun gets more consistent with use. This thing is a beast. Never would have bought it if the price wasn't what it was.
