Check the Orings around the poppet valve near the throat. Also check the vent hole for the reg.

Not that many areas these guns can leak. You could pull action from stock, (pull the barrel) fill to 3000 and submerge in a tub of water. That would give you a little more definitive answer. Blow the action off with a hair dryer. No harm.

Have you pulled the bleed screw out and flattened the bottom of it? Pulled the plenum & checked o-ring? Just trying to throw out ideas, I know these hidden leaks can drive you crazy. Good luck.

I have one parts gun that has been hard to find the slow leak. Used the spray leak detector on all areas, to no avail. I prefer not doing a whole blanket o-ring replacement. When I pick it back up, plan to use my known good, non-leakers, guns to help isolate. Will swap the air cylinder, which includes fill and gauge. I did try the balloon on fill probe, but it found nothing. Nothing on the barrel either, so that poppet is holding. O-rings, including plenum look good. Anyway, the swap should isolate to one half of the gun.

ive never tried this, but would mixing dishsoap with rubbing alcohol be better for the metal parts than water?
i cant read through the whole thread right now, but is the 'airblock' that threads in to the 'action' more than one turn out?

Put the balloon around the front air fill section of the air tube, filled her up to 3000 and I let her sit .... the balloon did not budge .... so air is not leaking from the fill section of the gun.

It is now time to get some bubble mixture to see if I can find anything ... This is now getting to be a real pain !

It is coming very close to that ... but in reality, it was a parts gun and all the "PARTS" are working just fine.

I will find out what is wrong in the next few weeks for sure. I will do another balloon test on the barrel, and make another poppet and see what happens.

You have been more than patient with this thing. At *THIS* point, just throw the thing in the *TUB* and look for the bubbles.

Easy to dry it off, and you will definitely know where the leak is. I think Duy is probably right, it's about the only other place it could be except regulator. If it's the valve rings, the tub will tell. Good luck, you know the suspense is killing us.

We just wish we were there so we could help with the work. 😂

It seems to me that if the valve orings are leaking the balloon test on the barrel would show it. It would be no different than the poppet leaking.

If the poppet leaks, the air goes through the valve = barrel test shows this. If the o-rings leak, the air goes around the valve and not through it = negative barrel test!

I think if the PU valve O-ring leaks, but the NBR holds, the air would channel into the valve trougth and TP passage. Normally, the NBR only provides a seal during the shot cycle. Even if the NBR had a small leak, I think the TP would be the path of least resistance. Not sure, just trying to think it through.

Note: The valve set-screw and stock bolt hole may be another path.

the valve set screw is behind the rear oring of the valve. and the stock screw hole will puncture into the valve’s rear oring if tighten down too far. they cut that stock hole too deep. the oem valve has oring sealing the stem in the rear so it may not escape around the stems to the back. check those areas too

200psi loss overnight is sloooow leak. barrel balloons may not show if the passage to the barrel is not 100% sealed.
having worked on the Liberty for a while. i suspect the valve area to be leaking...since OP ruled out other areas already. just replace those orings and clean the valve and the chamber spot clean. see if that helps.

i use soap and water and smear it anywhere suspected. slow leak or not bubbles will form

Actually it will go up through the barrel as the Oring just on the other side of where the poppet seals leaks right into the area where the groove is. I originally thought the same thing but rethought is and realized that it is possible. The Oring on the stem side wouldn't cause any leaking at all. I'm talking about the white Oring.
