Just Bought ANOTHER Liberty for Parts ;- )

I think i am done with buying Liberty parts gun. i have 2 already. i need to get a Freedom, because after disassembly the pump, i come to appreciate how its made compared to the hand pumps.

so ill have a oem freedom and a bottle freedom. one bottle liberty and oem liberty. that will be good.

I'm the other way around duy, I might get me another warranty free Liberty in wood myself and it'll definitely be a .22 caliber.  Even for the price of a new one under warranty these guns are well worth the money, they're very accurate once you get them where you want them with a good scope on them.  I tried a Bug Buster 3-9x on my Liberty soon after I bought it but the scope doesn't do them justice, they need better optics IMO.

I want to move my scope forward on the rescue liberty (I’m even thinking bullpupish).

Has anyone ever wanted to make a picatinny rail that screws on to the front sight barrel band, and clamps to the dovetail in front of the magazine? 16.5”long will do.

It could even be sloped a degree or two, and avoid shimming the scope.

HINT! : Make it FULL SIZED so I don’t have to use scope ring adapters!

Took the the gun apart in about 5 seconds and got to the poppet this am, there was absolutely no indent that I could see in the Delrin where sealing could occur to these old tired eyes. I put in the poppet that I reconditioned yesterday, stuck a pen in the spring, pushed down enough to give good compression to the spring and twisted it back and forth, hoping to smooth down any micro rough areas that I could and try to give the valve a place to seat. I did this a few minutes, so I now hope this works.

If this doesn't I have some SOLID one piece Delrin poppets I made, and if they don't work, I will buy some White Delrin to see if that seals better than the black Delrin ? (I think Ribbonstone said somewhere that the white may be a bit softer than the black).

I'm just hoping she holds when I fill her with air this afternoon, i think the burnishing I did will help solve the problem.

I ONLY have one Liberty!! I do have a Aspen aka Freedom but my Liberty is getting all of the attention right now. I haven't shot my Aspen in a month. lol Heck, I haven't done much target shooting at all over the last month.

My last Liberty arrived!     A complete gun with good wood stock, iron sights, SS tray, spare probe O-rings, allen wrenches, and two mags.   A fill probe was included, but it is way too small for a Liberty.     Freedom?    It had zero psi, which can be a good thing for a parts gun problem.

Filled her up an hour and a half ago, and so far so good, she is staying right at 3000psi ... if she stays like this for a few more hours I think I'll be good. If she leaks a very, very little I think about 20 shots should settle things in. Since this is the first fill that is holding, I'm assuming the other O rings are settling in ?

I think possibly the big mistake I made was not burnishing in the poppet to the valve in the first place and maybe non of this would have happened ?
