I'm really bummed to hear of your experience. I've had really good luck with Krale in the past for rifles that weren't available stateside. Thank you for sharing and it's good to be on the lookout for this issue.I've had the best luck picking up a deal at airgun shows, usually a tuned gun as well.
Since all of the TX200 HC Rifles in the US had rusty barrels, I ordered one from Krale. I had already waited for months for PA/AGD to get new stock (to replace my initial TX200HC with a rusty barrel), and they kept reporting that it would still be months out before they got new stock, I decided to just spend a little extra and order the rifle overseas. I checked with Krale beforehand to ensure that their rifles had no rust in the barrels. They said that they hadn’t even heard of that before, so I went ahead and ordered the rifle. I received the rifle and was really disappointed. The rifle was not packaged as new, didn’t have a serial number that matched the box, AND had a rusty barrel. The worst part is that I had to fight tooth and nail for weeks trying to get them to take the rifle back and issue me a refund. I even had to pay for the return S&H. So I was out $100 and the process took almost 2 months before I was issued a refund. The whole process was so frustrating (and costly!) that I’m not sure that I would deal with them again after this. I feel like they were dishonest about the rust and shady about the return process.

Here is the first patch moistened with RemOil pulled through my .177 HW95 bore when the gun was broken down for a "factory lube stripping" and relube with Krytox GPL205..........Here are some groups shot with the HW95 after relube and reassembly...........Anywhoo....perhaps it's worth simply cleaning the bore, shooting a few "fouling shots", then shooting some groups. Of all the .177 HW springers I've bought, tuned, sold I've haven't had one that wouldn't shoot 7.9 grain CPLs into a 1/2" ctc group at 30 yards straight from the box after a bore clean and a few dozen fouling shots while sitting on a bucket resting the gun on cross sticks.
I feel your pain Zack Steve
Man ZackI also feel your pain with the TX dilemma's of rusty barrels. Have never bought from Krale but have been looking at doing so in the future but likely not now.I guess being able to rebuild/repair most all air gun issues I will stick to buying known good used guns and tuning and dressing up to suit me. Best of luck.Mike

At least the issue is put to rest with the blued barrels Quote from: buldawg76 on August 07, 2019, 01:09:39 AMMan ZackI also feel your pain with the TX dilemma's of rusty barrels. Best of luck.MikeThanks Mike. If you are thinking of something along the price lines of an HW30 or HW50, you will probably be fine. You just have to weigh out the cost savings vs. the risk. Also, any issues with a Weihrauch can usually be resolved pretty easy by the user. I also haven't heard about any common issues with HW's. AA TX200's have apparently had rusty barrel issues for awhile now.I've only read about a few other people having issues with Krale, and I think they were both involving returns. The way they handled mine has soured me on buying from them.
