Have about 2 hours on it so far...maybe a bit more. Filled a 6.8 L tank and topped it off twice from ≈225 to 300 B due to valve leakage. Topped off 177 cal Hatsan AT10 three times and 22 cal Hatsan Bull Boss twice, from ≈150 to 200 B...took about 3-4 min for the rifle top-offs...you had to be quick, no checking out the pretties or dawdling.
Time to change the break-in oil...it's turned black. Wish the oil toilet paper filters were still available...they would clean oil from totally black to see through clean and worked great until
?? I copied a great idea and could clean one oil change while running a unit on one truck...just had to add one quart or so each toilet paper change and one quart extra in the vehicle.
VERY LITTLE SMELL...but LOTS OF HEAT. I was going through frozen 2 L pop bottles in less than an hour and cooled down totally over night once when filling the 6.8 L tank.
Replacement Nomad II due on Monday...I will set on it while filling...hopefully to keep any brown-outs from killing this one.
The Nomad will be for filling rifles and the 6000 psi will be used for tanks.
Time will tell with the 6000 psi unit as with ANY mechanical contrivance.
Good Shooting

I have one of those 6000 psi compressors..
I just filled my 45 minute bottle from 2800 psi to 4500.. Took 3 rest periods with the water pump running.. I run the exit water over a frozen block of ice in a coffee container.. Never had it go over 50 C.. So breaks were more for me than it...
I had to rebuild it once, since the cylinder and the piston rod broke when new.. After I assembled and ALIGNED ( which is the big problem with all these Chinese compressors they assemble as fast as they can.) the piston to the cylinder bore, it has been working well.. ( It has filled my bottle at least 10 times since then..)

Would one of you guys share a link to your 6000psi compressor?
I'm really curious to see what they look like!

Looks like any tuxing, vevor compressor... The 6000 psi rating is just a way to sell them.. It is just a 4500 psi compressor..

Oh hey!, so no actual component changes from 4500psi labeled units. Well that's no fun!

I have NO IDEA nor will I hazard a guess who makes them...nor will I "guesstimate" the pressure ratings..to me that is playing on the wrong side of things...
Buying ANYTHING from China is asking for problems and you can't blame anyone but yourself if something goes bad or doesn't work right.
This one runs up to about 4000 psi then slows down...probably the rings haven't seated yet or are mis-aligned or just plain bad but the repair parts are cheap...time will tell. Compressors are simple machines and relatively simple to work on...just nuts and bolts.
There are several online "sellers"...just do a Google search for 6000 psi/220 volt compressor and you will get several hits.
There are a ton of ways to cool this compressor limited only by the imagination....I had NO heating problems just topping off a couple rifles by 100 B using a 5 gal bucket only.
You pays yo' money and takes yo' chances...if you're lucky you break even.
Good Shooting.
