would it keep the usage down if instead of posting the same pictures over and over, to embed a link to those pictures that are already in another thread?


i ask because i just read how we are already at 85% capacity for this month and i have noticed the same pictures being posted every time they become relevant.

It's not the usage for the month, it's TOTAL space used. Ain't no starting over next month. LOL
But photos, especially high quality ones, and videos take up the most space. Simple text replies do not use much space at all. So I would guess that quoting photos, that causes them to repost, DOES help eat up our server space, unnecessarily. Folks should refrain from QUOTING a post when there are photos attached. It makes the reply longer too. LOL

I try to edited out the part of a quote I am not referring to. Sometimes with multiple quotes it can be challenging though.

  So instead of the above, I will get something like this! I have been deleting the parts I am not referring to for some time now just because I like to keep it looking simpler.

absolutely Dan, i see a lot of posts using the quote feature over and over and when they contain pictures, they use more bandwidth.

I just uploaded a bunch of photos to my albums right before I read this about the space being almost used up. 
Should I go back and deleted them? How much do the albums get looked at? Is it worth it?
