the big plenum with fpe focused tune will net around 8-10 shots at 64fpe. more at 60fpe. but for 35fpe with a custom valve and plenum, way more than factory 60 shots. this is something you have to invest time in playing with parameters within the gun itself. i have never been interested in shot counts...only power and reasonable efficiency.

Duy, how can I order the custom plenum and valve? I'm working on a 3d print stock and I'll love to design it around the bigger plenum

Orion, i make the valves but i don't make the plenums. i havent heard Billys plan for it either. i can make a plenum but it would be semi expensive due to manual labor and 7075t6 material.

if you want the parts you can pm me. i wish Billy could just make a load of them.

Just documenting my testings on the new stainless valve i made.

Reg pressure:  2800psi
Plenum size :   20cc
Throat:            7mm+
Exhaust:          6mm+
Transfer Port:   .217

24.2g AVS slugs= 1030fps= 57fpe
48.4g AVS x2    = 796fps  = 68fpe
48.4g AVS x2    = 807fps  = 70fpe @3000psi

14.3grain          = 1190fps= crack
28.6grain          = 964fps  = 59fpe


Maybe i should source heavier slugs for 50-70 yard shots.

Can someone tell me what that second poppet is for?

How about a Titanium valve? I've got a 1 inch sq by around 2 long piece of Ti that I'm going to send you when I finally send you the DC valve to reface.

Yes, but it's in the researching state. The breech has limited space inside the valve housing. Still trying to figure out how to mount the thimble.
