Next time try chicken fat.Uncooked naturally. Works really well and last a long time because the Blue Crab(suspect that's what your after)can't break it up very easy because it's pretty tuff.
And if you get in a bind and don't have traps put chicken fat in old panty house. Their claws get caught up in the nylon stocking and they can't let go.

Use Roundup and tell them it was a blight or a UFO.
Less chance of burning the house down and or the neighbors calling police and or firetruck.

Forget round up, use pool salt. Spread it out just before a rain storm and nothing will grow but won't kill ya like round up.

There has been so much progress with these guns in every other area, it's a shame the regulator won't function any where near the full range of the reservoir.

I don't thing the spring on the poppet valve is related, it's just the washers.

Robert said he tried the washers through no avail.

I'm not the only one who has less than stellar results with the Mc Carr washers. Duy had problems and Wayne did also and I'm sure there's been others.

I remember that post. Wayne retracted that statement. He remembered it was his DAR reg he was messing with. Don't believe he's touched the washers in the liberty. Sounds like They didn't work for Duy for Max power. They've been working excellent in the mid power range with the hammer strike ballanced to the reg pressure for  me.I normally don't fill much past 3600 psi.

I am back at it. and already screwed up the plenum hole...its way too big for the oem plenum. dang what to do?

Just kidding, the hole is made for the 20cc biggest plenum and bigger orifice. i wonder what the increase in power will be like. excited!

I cannot see this larger hole being done with just an ordinary hand drill.
Duy, be prepared to have a BUNCH of breech assemblies being sent to you to be done.

oh no no, no hand drills on these receivers. i had a 29/64 bit but i decided to wait for a .446 reamer. it came out to be .448. still good for 1/2-20. 29/64 drill bits would have walked to .540 plus.

tested last night.

highest number with the +20cc plenum was 1049fps at 3.3ksi. 1012fps at 2.8ksi with 26.1 AVS slugs. that is 64fpe max and 60fpe at 2800psi. very usable if regulated down to 2800psi or less.

this is with the new valve that has tapered throat from .275 to .255. has .217 exhaust and 1.5mm stem.

the receiver was tapped for additional screws just for that extra safety margin. i havent had time to fit a .25 barrel yet. but i am guessing minimum gain 70fpe for .25 caliber.

Some pretty good power numbers I bet you could get even higher FPE with a heavier projectile even in .22.

Any idea on how many shots can be achieved with this setup? I am especially interested in dropping the regulator pressure to maximize shot count around 30-35FPE. I was looking at minimizing reg pressure to shoot a 20g projectile between 800-900 FPS.

the big plenum with fpe focused tune will net around 8-10 shots at 64fpe. more at 60fpe. but for 35fpe with a custom valve and plenum, way more than factory 60 shots. this is something you have to invest time in playing with parameters within the gun itself. i have never been interested in shot counts...only power and reasonable efficiency.
