My $50 Ruger Airhawk Project Code Green

Ok guys here she is.
The stain I used was Miniwax Express color in Emerald Green.
They do have other colors. I got it at the local hardware store.
Its water based but I coat it with layers of Miniwax Polycrylic for protection and a bit of shine.
I like using this stain because its fool proof. Just wipe the excess off against the grain. So much quicker than traditional stains.

Ok so I had a friend shooting this gun with me and he loved it. He has shot AGs before but didn't currently have one. He loved the Airhawk so much that he wanted to go out and buy one. That's when he had the bright idea to offer me 100 bucks for mine knowing that I only payed 50 for it. He said a new one would not feel the same as this one did and he was right it wouldn't have. After we shot for a couple of hours I decided to sell it to him. I showed him what I wanted to do (lube tune) and he asked if I can still do it.
Point being I now have 100 dollars and I still get to tinker with this gun.

He's my powder hunting partner now he can be an air hunter as well.

Although I feel like im going to miss her I still get to see her and care for her often.
