Been using Chinese pumps for the last 4 years(two of them) and been happy with them (esp. for the price). Never got a full year out of a Hills pump without a rebuild, the oldest Chinese pump is still going (although now with my youngest nephew).Meanwhile, the Hils pump died from neglect and I've no real urge to reseal it.

Ditto same here.
I started with the Benji handpump for filling my PP700 pistol. I have used the heck outta that airgun, roughly 17000 pellets, are shot by hand-compressed air.Last year I splurged on a $45 Chinese pump and I doubt I'll use my Benji pump again. I fill 3 PCPs by hand; a PP700 pistol, a Maximus, and a PR900 Varmint.

Someone needs to design an excercycle that pumps up tanks when we're getting exercise on it, wouldn't that be nice.

Get everything bolted down to a large piece of plywood or pallet, some ambitious person... oh, just eliminated myself.Been saying it for years,....someone needs to build a rowing machine with 2 big pumps to fill tanks.

I wish I had started with an ATI Nova Freedom or Seneca Aspen in .22 as my first PCP.The onboard pump has far more efficiency than the HPA floor pumps. Power and accuracy is excellent. Spring adjustment are easy. Transfer port adjustable. As a starter you could learn a lot and get a lot of shooting in to figure out how far and in what direction you want to take your next purchase.Stand alone these rifles and a tin of lead honestly get you started in a big way, scope it and you may not feel the need to buy another rifle...
