I thought I seen a post on how to fix this problem. But can't seem to find it.
Could someone point in right direction. Or give me a quick hint how address this problem
Thank you so much

OK Lance here we go.
Bear with me..
Just about when my TX was 361 days old, I was at the range in Concord, CA.
I was shooting off the bench with the R1 and the TX.
Everything was going swimmingly.
I was checking the scope wheel at various ranges for Hunter Class FT.
So, I chambered an 8.64 grain, 4.52mm pellet and settled in behind the scope.
I was shooting on an elevated rest about 8” high.
As I touched off, it felt like I just shot my .300 Magnum.
I had no idea what had happened until I tried to cock and load the rifle again.
Unknown to me, the cocking arm had fallen down and when I touched off, the arm came back to the barrel with such force, it turned into an upside down smile. (Think AMAZON)
The arm would not engage the spring-driven ball..
As I had already loaded a pellet, I held the arm up against the barrel and touched off that pellet.
I went home and called PA and they said to send the rifle back to them for repair as it was till under warranty.
(BTW: They carry the cocking arm and linkage in their stock of parts?
)
I thought to myself, “This is my problem, not theirs.”
The cocking arm on the TX is hollow (unlike the Chinese Bam 40 knock-off) so, I got a bunch of Turkish toweling and with my best grip, put the toweling between the barrel and cocking arm and squeezed.
Actually I squeezed a bit too much, but, and, THIS IS THE CLUE, not that much, too much.
I bent it bit the other way and checked the straightness with a ruler.
Looked good.
For about three years everything was good, then, last year, during an FT match, the arm dropped again. I straightened it.
Again, it dropped and I straightened it.
Shooters next to me start teasing me about the TX that cocked itself.
Finally, I went home and discovered the TX arm has to have a bit of upside down smile so that when the arm is in battery and the spring powered arm is holding it there, there should also be a small amount of torque applied against the receiver.
To check this, the arm should be closer to the barrel in the middle of the arm, then at the ends.
Not much.
So, cock the arm and insure the safety is engaged.
Return the arm to battery.
See how difficult it is to return the arm to battery.
Too easy?
Allow the arm to drop cocked) and then try and bend the arm just a bit.
An RCH will do.
Check the lockup again.
Tighter?
No?
Do it again.
There you go.
For awhile take an extra half-second and confirm the arm is in battery every time you use your rifle until you are confident of the lockup.
I shoot the TX every other day and in FT competitions every month (rotating between it and the Marauder).
The arm haas never fallen down again since I applied that bit of torque to the cocking arm.
BTW..The main reason I did not want to send the rifle back to PA?
I got a real nice piece of wood.
Good luck.

As I said, PA sells the cocking arm and linkage.
It has a rivet holding everything together.
You could send the rifle to motorhead and have the new cocking arm drop-shipped to him.
He can tune it and install the arm for you.
You will be very pleased and then it will sell immediately..

Thanks! Frank the little and i mean little tweak of the arm worked wonders.
it shoots ok looks very nice butt its the only riffle i have scarred up. Highly accurate
with all kinds of pellets. Its got a couple of scratches by the hex screw that screws
through the shroud. I heated it and tried to screw the little screw back in after i noticed
it backed out and was hitting the linkage. It striped and i could not get it in or out
and i slipped thus the scratches.
just hate looking at it. It will rot in the closet i cant see taking a 100 or more loss

I am glad it worked out for you.
But, Scott (motorhead) can do wonders and if that screw can come out, he will get it out.
You may get some advice from the AirArms Owners Forum, too.
Scott can smooth out the action and he can do his magic with the trigger.
How smooth?
You can put a pellet on the vertical knob of your scope and when you shoot, the pellet doesn’t move..
Good luck.
Scratches???
I bought a 300S with scratches, and worn bluing.
What that means to me the rifle was used more than the others because it was the most accurate..😆
