So the .177 version of the SIG ASP20 really got my attention. The 22 did so even more. No BS, no Fluff, SIG has a real winner here with their ASP20 Break Barrel. They’ve done it all right. It’s not perfect from solely bench rest perspective as the trigger pull could be better, but as a field gun with target shooting as a secondary use, this is one awesome air rifle.
Man it’s a great time to be an airgunner!!!

We are now a A FULL YEAR after the Pyramyd Air review by Gaylord. Where is the synthetic version? A Full YEAR later, still no synthetic, nor no indication of when. Maybe 2 years after the Gaylord review? Three? The "Whiskey" scope that was made for this mythical synthetic rifle? When will this rifle/scope combo, who's praises were sung a FULL YEAR ago by Gaylord, be available?

Forget the synthetic and get the wood. It is worth it.

Ok, I Bought on SIG Sauer ASP20 few months back and unfortunately my 20mm rail fell off and got broken into two pieces due a minute accident , the gun is good but i think they use a cheap material to make rail.

This is my sentiment exactly. I love mine.
And I really wanted the synthetic, but I do not at all regret getting the wood - it's really nice.

Guys, I just took delivery a few days ago on the ASP20 Synthetic in .22, scoped it, put about 100 Premier Hollow Points thru it so far, and badly need some feedback on your impressions. Seems to weigh about 8.4 lbs plus or minus 0.2 lbs, unscoped (my digital scale is not expensive). First this is hard to cock; i have to be very...how would you say...deliberate. Maybe it will break in, if I keep it.
Pellets have to be manually seated in the very tight breech. So that's why you don't see Tyler loading the gun in the Pyramyd video; combined with the hard cocking, it would take too much time. If pellets aren't seated flush with the breech face, the skirts get dinged by the detent upon lockup. That breech would definitely be hogged out if i kept this gun.
I gently screwed the "Stage Length" Allen screw all the way in to its stop and out again carefully so as to not back it all the way out. I do not see it moving. And I did not notice any "Length" change. This worries me.
I have not dismantled anything. I hear that one of the trigger guard screws goes into wood. That is disappointing if true.
I also gently turned the Phillips head "Trigger Weight" screw many turns in both directions following the directions in the Manual. I noticed no clicking sound as mentioned in the directions. It did feel like the hidden screw down there might be a Hex-head and pushing on the springloaded Phillips might be like engaging a socket wrench type socket onto the a Hex-headed screw when the socket finally seats. Maybe that what they mean by the "click"? I noticed no change in "Weight". What's worse, the Phillips-shape seat for the screwdriver is now stripped out so I'm stuck with the pull weight whatever it is for now.
Its very accurate at my 13 yard indoor range (hallway) so that's encouraging.
