Groups of ten at 30 yards sounds pretty good, especially if it’s consistent.
Many Urbans like Crosman premier domes, and JSB 18s. Mine hates the JSB 18s, but does the best with Air Arms 16s.
I usually shoot 5 shot groups at 40 yards, and I have seen many 1/4 - 3/8 inch groups, but there have been many more 3/4 - 1 inch groups in between the tight ones. So I would say you’re Urban is doing well.

Mine tends to like a little heavier pellet than the 14.3.

Yours was whacking small lollipops at around 45 - 48 yards so I'd say that's real good.
Those were about the size of a paintball.

Yes that is right and that was with the 18g jsb. You have to practis some hold over under windage but once you know that he rest is history.

It is a custom made trigger that has a extra adjustment in it made to replace this particular gamo trigger. It is a upgrade but not needed, I find the stock trigger to function well but I am used to m16 and m4 triggers my self. Instal if you have any ability in mechanics or be able to watch and follow a youtube video you can instal it without much fuss just take your time.

Frankly invest your time and money right now in a good AO scope and pellet selection. The AO scope will really make a difference in you POA to POI as your margin for error in hold cheek weld and eye relief wont matter as much as a fixed parallax scope. With a AO say you set it to 30y no matter where you put your eye the cross hairs are on target but only if your target is at 30y any more or less then there is parallax error to consider.

Here’s another tip, before you spend money on the CTD, do the trigger screw replacement. Behind the trigger is an adjustment screw, it’s either 6 or 8 mm long. Replace it with a 10mm, and you will be able to adjust the trigger so that as soon as you break into the second stage the gun fires. I put lock-tite on mine and let it dry before I screwed it in, that way it goes in tight and won’t budge when you get it set right. Also don’t screw it in too far or the gun could go off accidentally.

I’ve read many reviews that say replacing the screw makes the Urban rigger very good and there’s no need to spend money on aftermarket triggers.

I just like the feel of the CDT and I think my Urban deserves it. I'll take metal over plastic any day. Wonder how the plastic will hold up over time?
Again.... I only put the CDT in because I already had one on hand... if not I probably would have waited until, or if it was needed.
When you can take a shot and your trigger never even enters your mind you have a good trigger.

Funny turn of events, this is the quickest turn around I’ve ever had with anything, air gun or otherwise.  I like the urban, do t get me wrong, but I have always wanted to try both a Bullpup and a sidelever.  I’ve only had urbans, mrods and springers.  I found a Kral puncher breaker for sale and the owner is going to trade for my urban plus money.  So I thank you all for the urban information and I guess I’ll be starting a new Kral thread in a week or so.

I just hope I’m not making a mistake.  In your opinion is the Kral at least as good as the urban?  It’s the wood stock model and will come with a hugget ldc.

Same....although I tired bullpups twice and still have one, but there is no great love for the breed.

Lots of folks love the pups. You could very well be one of those. If everyone liked the same thing there would only be one gun.... what fun would that be?

Sounds like a tempting offer, I also really like the bull pups. I think it’s the ‘wanna be’ engineer inside me that figures if a gun can be 6-10 inches shorter and do the same job that should be better. But I’ve read Ribbonstones posts about the awkwardness of them too. If it were a perfect world I’d get my hands on 4 or 5 different pups and see how I like them. But since that’s not Going to happen, I guess I’ll be looking for your posts once you get the Breaker to see what you think. I think it’s one of the good looking pups, along with the P15/Skyhawk. Hajimoto has a video describing some of the things an out the box Puncher Breaker could benefit from.
