It is a drop in fit for a Bucc stock, I have both and have swapped them many times. You will need the longer stock lug for the Bucc or coyote stock, the Urban is too short.

I wrapped my baffles with electrical tape and it helps the volume of the report. They don't fit tight in the outer tube and their was a gap down both sides letting out air. Now it fits tight in the external pickle and the air only goes out where the pellet leaves the pickle. I was just going to glue the two halves together but this works.

Did you just do a single layer?  So now the baffle is basic 1 long tube of tape?  I will have to try that, thanks

I overlapped about 50%. I know it’s a crutch. May do a partial shroud down the road, but this was cheap and easy

Mine is as quiet as it was the the orignal pickle on it but now it dose not make the fart sound it used to. That right there is nice.

Got my Urban today and had time to shoot 2 mags through it.  I realize I definitely want a second mag, I hate that they cost so much though.

I do have a question now, in just these 20 shots I had several double feeds.  I tried making sure I pulled it back deliberately but it would sometimes hang as I was pulling it back.  Am I doing something wrong, is there something wrong with the rifle, something wrong with the mag?  Pushing a pellet in feels smooth.

It should break in and get easier. In the meantime, if you cycled it and the sear didn't catch.. pull the bolt back and remove the mag before pushing the bolt back in. This will avoid a double load. Shooting a double load will sometimes clip the inside of the 'pickle' on the end of the barrel. It could even blow the baffles out and your gun will become really loud.
Please don't be offended but, the gun is not double loading pellets... you are double loading pellets into the gun.

Sorry did not get involved in the thread earlier... First piece of advice I give for Buccaneer/Coyote/Urban new owners is to get used to the bolt action before even putting the Mag in the rifle... My other mag fed bolt actions will double feed also...

but yep not hard to prevent once used to the rifle...

I recommend at first very dilabrite cocking it until you get a feel for it. I have double fed more than I care to count and I found pulling back a lot harder than you think you should helps a lot to prevent yourself from double loading. There is a crisp definite engagement for a complete cock. There is a slightly less of the same feel for a half cock. Sometimes what you would think is a full cock isnt and really take a bit more grunt to fully cock it, this is when knowing what it should feel like will prevent a double feed you will instinctively pull back a little more to finish the cocking, or you will recock and remove the mag before pushing the bolt forward.

I had a few double feeds the first time i shot mine and the bolt oring got destroyed in the process.
Now several thousand pellets later i have not had another.
You will get used to manipulating the bolt right after a while,just make sure you pull it all the way to the back and like the others said just pull the mag out if you get a pellet in the barrel before you load another behind it.
Bolt is glass smooth now as well,a slick little gun i enjoy so much ,i sold my Gauntlet and bought a Buccaneer that will be coming home today.
It's in .177 with a great looking wood stock with just a threaded barrel and stripper,so no ugly pickle.
It won't matter if it's loud,i got a 100 yard range at home for powder burners but i might  put a moderator on it at some point.
I can't wait to try it out,allready bought a bunch of different pellets to try.

You will feel and hear a sharp click when it is fully cocked. As stated above the cocking will get smoother with use if not then inspect bolt probe rings for proper lube and damage.

Thanks for all the replies.  After posting I cycled the bolt several times without a magazine in and I’m pretty sure the trigger was set too light.  There were times when I pulled the bolt back fully and it wouldn’t cock at all.  I turned the trigger screw about a quarter turn and now it seems that all is well.  Am I just making this up or is that a legitimate possibility?

Nope, that's a legit possibility. Another may be that your hammer spring is set too heavy. Keep in mind, if it's a new gun, the hammer spring will somewhat break in and set. Many gun manuals will tell you to shoot 300 or so then turn the hammer spring in some to take the power back up. If your's is as heavy as you describe, you may not need to make adjustments.... just let it break in and set.

When I put in the long screw and adjusted the trigger, I dry fired to get used to it. It does get better with usage.

It was definitely the trigger being set too light, I went back and watched the air gun depot video about adjusting the trigger and tried the rubber hammer test and sure enough the rifle would fire with a bump the the butt.  After making sure it was safely set I put 30 pellets through and zero double feed issues.

The previous owner may have installed a longer screw in the trigger. I have my stock screw all the way in and it's ok. I did turn my hammer spring to the point I could not cock it then to the verge of 50/50 cock then backed it off half a turn. I'm making 26fpe with 14-34g pellets. Like every pellet at every weight is making 26fpe average...

Next question, what type of accuracy should I expect?  I have only shot maybe 100 or so pellets now and the best I’ve done so far is dime size groups of 10 at 30 yards?  Reasonable or should I expected better?  Seems the favorite pellet so far are polymags.
