Impressive, more energy than 300 Blackout firing subsonics, though I'll wager that bullet shape loses velocity pretty quickly by comparison.

Yes but the .510 bullet has 3 times the area as the .308 bullet.
And 281gr is indeed very light for .510 and I would guess that the BC is about half of the .308.


But I agree it's very impressive, Especially considering the limitations of the Texan platform and the 500cc bottle.

Oh for sure, it's light for the caliber, but in absolute terms that is one heavy bullet, you can make 20 "normal" 0.22" pellets out of it!
