I went for long lazy drives, taking in all the Fall Colors.
The St. Croix river river in Wisconsin, from Taylors Falls to Grantsberg gets very spectacular this time of year.

Got the CMG drop in trigger out of the carbon fiber lower (destined for the AEA30 Challenger weight reduction).  Wrestled with getting that trigger in the KE Arms MSR lower for PB season.....
Purchased batteries and zip ties for camera #2 at Wally-world and got memsahib boots as she says she'll woodwalk/scout with me...

Jerry, she looks great for her age. Mine is obsessed with rats and sometimes upend things to get them. I have walk out the door and the yard looks like a tornado hit it with him after the rats. It's worth the aggravation, he does get them in the end and leaves them at the front door. He has also gotten good at letting me know where one is so I can flush it out with the hose.

Wow! Beautiful... we've been told that due to the drought, our leaves will go from withered green to brown with no reds, golds, or yellows in between.

Fixed the hog fence I backed the water trailer into. My mirrors don't give me a very good view past the trailer. Had to install 2 more T posts because I stretched the fence and it needed more support. Man am I sore from pounding the T posts in with a 2lb hammer. Need to get a T post driver to make it just a little easier. Discovered what hog rings are. Had a bag of them in the airgun shed but had no idea what they were.😂 Never dealt with hog fencing and t posts before moving here. Chain link I know about but I'm learning.😁😁

Oh heck yeah, a T post driver is essential. And the 3500 # winch on the atv is essential for pulling posts back out as well.

I'm gonna take a leisurely ride over to Walmart and Lowes in Troy. I want to see if I can fins a gallon or so "oops" paint in a drab or dark color on the cheap. We've decided to put some paint on the privacy fencing on the lean to.

Ooops paint = Good Stuff.  We would buy 4 or 5 gallons of whatever colors the paint place had.  We would then pour all the paint in one 7-gallon bucket.  Whatever color it made was what we painted the bicycle ride route with.  That paint would last almost as long as what the Highway Department used to line the highways.

I ended up running to Walmart and they had a gallon of dark woodsy brown on the counter. It was obvious they had mixed it because it was in a base paint can. It had the sample drop of the color on the lid. I found someone and asked about it, it didn't have a price on it. He told me it was infact a mistake and scanned it with his phone thingy. $13.99...   sold.
Heck, that's just about the color I would have picked anyways.

Well I piddle pharted in the garden for a bit.  Walked the dogs. Cut two ten lb. pork loins into a total of 48 chops and 2 small roasts.  Sliced two of those mondo ginormous chicken (?) breasts from Atomic Rooster Farms into about thirty chicken (?) fingers.  I'm thawing a baggy of catfish fingerlings,  mixing up a batch of my special breading and slicing some mushrooms, and getting ready to make a mess of fried food!

Boss is a full blooded American Bulldog and Rambo is a Lab/Pit mix. He is 10 times smarter than she is. However, they both have personalities that set them apart and other characteristics that they learned from each other and share.
Rambo sneaks in and Boss goes in guns blazing. But, they both go in none the less.
Boss will attack and kill venomous snakes at all costs to herself. Rambo will let you know it's there.
