I have an Iraqi coworker (now an American citizen) who always chastises our other coworkers when they complain about little things.

He always tells them to try and stay in Iraq for a day or two so they can compare both countries, lol!

No one likes the guy for his being so outspoken but the two of us are OK, as both of us hail from foreign lands, so I can read him like a book 

He always reminds people that the USA is one of the best nations in the whole wide world and that their petty problems are nonsensical 

I like him as he's right on. 1st world problems are the best problems to have. We don't have to worry about being tortured for our faith or having our heads lopped off here like people do in his country.

Finally was able to take out the old power cable in my tractor. What a PITA that was. Putting in the larger cable was even worse. My back was hurting but I got it done. Despite not enjoying having to do that I'm grateful I had the ability to do it and so far the tractor is starting fine now unlike before.

Being sidelined by flares and wrecking the weekend hunting. I turned my attention back to the yard clean up again, took advantage of the BF deals at Tractor Supply, been watching one bushhog price drop a few times and this weekend they dropped the price again into my price range, found one in stock, short drive, and it's home. I needed one for the jungle in some places and didn't want to disturb the ground any more than I had to. This will help get the rats gone as well, they will have no place to hide when I get through. Stuff has grown up so much after the storm that I can't keep it knocked back.

I changed the oil & filter in my wife's Subaru & sat around figuring out what I plan to do tomorrow. It's going to be about 10 degrees warmer & sunny so I can finish up some yard work before winter decides to make it appearance.

Betty Lou and I got out of the house for a bit yesterday. We had been confined to our home for the past couple weeks due to illness and needed to get out. We found ourselves in a Walmart a couple towns over and found a 7.5 cf fridge that was the perfect size to replace the original bad one that I took out of the RV. At $229, I couldn't resist. I spent the afternoon framing in the space it goes in. I'll trim it out today. I was able to work for 15 or 20 minutes before I had to sit down and recatch my breath.

 I too ventured outside yesterday. it was sunny and 41 with a very light breeze. FELT GOOD!
I walked around the property a bit, then dug the Christmas decor sleigh and reindeer out of the back of the shop.
 Today is supposed to be near 50 so I will set it up and run a couple strands of lights on the Deck.

It's a TSC County Line 4' Rotary Cutter(bushhog). TSC had them on sale as of yesterday, prices have gone up this morning, don't it figure. Has everything I needed in a bushhog. Stump jumper pan and break away blades is must around here.

I was able to get the new fridge all trimmed in and the mess cleaned up. Now I'm back to trying to catch my breath between coughing fits.

Yep... but I refuse to get tested for covid. Won't help the outcome either way.
Tomorrow I need to get back to work instead of being locked down at home.
Sh-tuff is piling up and I need to do my job.

Cleaned up the Christmas decorating mess and attempted to replace bulbs on a small artifical tree.  It's strange.   About 6 of the bulbs will either stay burned out or kill half the string if I try to replace the bulb.  I'll figure it out eventually

11/30,.. went to town and got the Winter snow/ice tires put on the '11 Rav4. They work people! I swap them yearly. Also went to the BMV to get a new sticker/registration. I always do mail in (for many years), but after 6 weeks of receiving nothing, I went in person. Got a flu shot for free. Got our first real snow. Maybe 2-3 total" with some melting yesterday. It came down super heavy while in town and it was a real mess for a few.

Now I know.  Blood clots in both lungs!

I'm kinda' glad we came in.  I've already had the first blood thinner shot in the belly.
